I suspect Musk will take out RCH. All that media coverage in the UK and US going begging.

Watfordhornet: No! VOD holders can no longer afford to drink at their 'local'! As an aside ...,and assuming your handle is genuine, t was April 1959 when I last visited Vicarage Road and Ron Saunders was up front for Watford. What a player.

Stoopid: You're right. I've just checked it out. On the basis that a great deal has changed on the restructuring front since then I'm not completely dismissing the latest 'rumour'. A USA telco could very easily swallow-up VOD, asset strip it and subsequently make a tidy profit at current market valuation.

Clearly no bid today!!

Drop today probably because the business secretary is being urged to refer VOD to the Covid corruption enquiry. Great..

Can't see VOD catching a bid given the regulatory hassle

Rumours of a potential bid by two suitors in the offing? Potential appropriators thought to be represented by Jefferies and Goldman Sachs respectively? If true ...two would be good for incredibly patient long term holders. Not yet reflected in the SP? Would they move before next month's trading update?

Well, it looks like the company has found the floor at around this 70p mark, hopefully it will pick up from here. Gonna give it 12 months or so to see where this goes now, if nothing changes I will be putting the money elsewhere. I will be fairly break-even numbers wise with the divis by this time next year. Still hoping for a turn around though and a recovery to my average buy price so the the divi payments feel like some form of return over the years.

EUR 2BN more share buybacks and 6BN less total debt per share does add value, so not just restricted to the BB…

See where the share price heads next..

€2bn to be shared with Vodafone's issued share capital of 27,249,396,428 ordinary shares gives around 7 €cents per share @ 1.20 gives about 6p per share i.e. not a lot!

Anybody care to check?

A bit like VOD is the government and the innocent shareholders are like the voters...taken in every time new CEO comes in...just a bit of tinkering...and endless buybacks...
