07/4/2008 19:56 | I found this ppv film that is about to be launched: | monty panesar
07/4/2008 19:38 | Barnowl. Think there was a bit of year end tax selling. Could bounce 10-15p very quickly. | monty panesar
07/4/2008 10:10 | Might be worth a small long-term punt for those that have a liitle faith and hope in the company! Good luck punters. | barn owl
28/3/2008 13:54 | I originally bought because I thought the technology was second to none. It's been very difficult to find out why the sales have been so poor, but I guess that in the end the technology was simply not required. Yes, the HD quality of the stream itself was far better than anything else on the market, but the player was poor. No real options, no good fast-forward, rewind, pausing and restarting caused delays, no track search. It really needed to be as easy as a DVD to navigate and it wasn't I wonder whether other areas of the technology were not up to scratch either? It seems strange that they had so many contracts that never appeared on the web as real, streaming video... Now we have a new player, which is already delayed by two months, but hopefully it is more user friendly for all involved from the provider through to the user. Even if it is good, I agree that it will be difficult for them to make the revenue they need. There is still hope, though. | the analyst
28/3/2008 13:29 | Adult is the key. They have thousands of videos to download staring in April that should provide real cashflow from late summer onwards. Has been all about getting the platform ready for the last few months. | monty panesar
28/3/2008 10:41 | Monty As another stuck investor I can only watch in horror at the financial situation - dont know where or how sales revenues are going to grow ten fold from £0.5 m to the £5 m needed to start seeing a decent return for shareholders. I'll hang on in but this is written down to zero in my mind in which case it will be a huge pleasure if it manages to resurect itself. | chairman2
28/3/2008 07:16 | Well results seem no worse than expected. Most important thing is the new platorm will be up and running next month so they can finally get the adult contracts producing revenues. | monty panesar
24/3/2008 19:51 | I see the RipCurl site is up and running live. | monty panesar
24/3/2008 19:31 | I think the new product has been launched or certainly has been on show at recent shows so more contracts should follow. With a £5m mkt cap price looks silly considering 2 largest shareholders own over 50 percent and are billionaires who are hardly likely to let it go under even though have cash for one year. | monty panesar
07/3/2008 21:12 | Results have to be released before the end of March. Last year they were out on 9th March, so I wonder if we will get them next week? I suspect they will make grim reading... | the analyst
07/3/2008 16:21 | I guess no news is bad news. Did the beta version PPV platform launch? "The Company is pleased to announce that its new platform for Pay Per View ("PPV") video portals will be launched as a beta release in February. The platform offers a fully commercialised end-to-end solution for content owners and broadcasters and uses Vividas' award winning video streaming technology, which plays content at full screen, broadcast quality and typically without the requirement for viewers to install any player software." | the analyst
03/3/2008 19:10 | Difficult to find where the company is at the moment. They don't seem to bother updating their website very often. The netvision.ph site seems to be expanding. Not sure how Fox Sports or trial with Australian Broadcasting Corp are going? Have they sorted out their adult issues? | monty panesar
29/2/2008 13:55 | .....now I wonder why someone is buying 25k X2 every few days? And who? | lofty
30/1/2008 14:26 | Mindseed and Vividas Announce New PPV Streaming Service Jan 29, 2008, 10:43PM International post production house Mindseed Entertainment and video streaming company, Vividas have announced a licensing arrangement which will give film producers a new distribution channel for their products. Mindseed Entertainment has developed a portal, which will allow consumers to view a range of films on a pay per view basis using Vividas' streaming technology. These films will be delivered in full screen, high definition format, to the viewer's computer without the need for software downloads. Vividas says that unlike other online formats, their solution allows millions of concurrent viewers without loss of vision quality, so delivers greater global reach and viewer satisfaction. According to Mindseed founder and CEO, Ed Anderson, 97% of films produced will never be seen by a wider public audience and the new portal will provide a means of distribution for these films, as well as many other popular titles screened in the past. "Film distribution companies and their networks have been forced to rely on film festivals and the Internet via sites such as MySpace and YouTube and other methods of video streaming, to move their films," Anderson says. "Poor picture quality, small image area, long download times and considerable storage and bandwidth problems for the end user have limited the success of these methods." The new portal, Mindseed Theatre, will be launched internationally next month and will offer full length feature films, foreign language films, television shows, documentaries and comedy; as well as live concert footage of well known recording artists all in the highest quality available to its global audience. The site will also offer a "Classics" page, where older films already screened in cinemas, will be available. The new site offers the consumer several options including two streaming rates (ADSL broadband and 256MB), depending on their computer and provider's capacity, as well as pause facilities of up to 48 hours should the viewer need to come back to the program later. In these instances, the system remembers the exact point that the viewing ceased and continues on until the end of the program once reactivated. 25/1/2008 08:59 | Wouldn't be vividas without the annual profit warning and re-structuring! At least they raised the £2.5m recently... | the analyst
25/1/2008 08:14 | The Dec 07 placees look well roasted at 35p. | still waiting
08/1/2008 07:41 | analyst - I'm UK so that might explain it. | nmf777
07/1/2008 18:57 | Are you in the US or UK, it could make a difference - it won't be made available to UK visitors, because Sky and Setanta the have the rights I'll email some friends in the US to see if they get success | the analyst
