01/2/2007 13:27 | Why the fall after such a good trading update from the Chairman? | timben
28/1/2007 21:40 | Check with the company, the only viable treatment at present, this is why its been such a problem to the southern states. | angussux
28/1/2007 09:27 | Angus I have already commented on this several months ago. However I was not aware that VTI has the only available treatment. Are you sure? | ericeb206
28/1/2007 06:39 | Has anyone considered what US $30 million can do for Virotec's radium treatment of water, no other viable treatment is available that has (DHEC) approval for use.At present only one contract exists for US $619,000 generating over ten years approx US$62,000 per annum. There over 1000 wells across the southern states contaminated by radium, lets say this US $30 mil is spent on the inferstructure to remediate 50% of these wells (500) so lets be a bit conservative with figures on return to VTI, say only $10,000 per well, 500 wells at $10,000 per annum amounts to US $5,000,000 per year on going + product supply and assistance, this could easily run to $25,000 per well return to VTI, for a total of $12,500,000 per annum, what would this do for the share price, any ideas. | angussux
27/1/2007 01:19 | ericeb206, would imagine rock not moved because no one wants it in thier backyard,,,still a glimmer of hope for bauxsol to be used,,just one nice full priced contract needed to start moving this share aain | distill
26/1/2007 14:22 | Seems to be one step forward and two back and the moment....any more news anybody? | timben
23/1/2007 09:53 | Vitamal I have read the minutes from time to time and gradually they are beginning to realise that ecotite is not the answer. There are continuing delays with its testing and it looks as though the delays are because it is not working. I particularly like this bit of the minute "Mr K----- added that the ARD from SWA where ecotite pilot studies took place has lower water quality than ARD at the Buttress/------ where bauxsol testing was conducted" What he does not say but what is clear from earlier minutes is that bauxsol has been consistent throughout and in the areas where it has benn used the water quality is up to standard. The thing that surprised reading the whole of the minutes is that the rock is still in place. I thought it would have been emoved long ago but there must have been problems. | ericeb206
22/1/2007 23:28 | in the minutes of 14 dec it seems that Penndot are trialling viromine at I99.Reading between the lines it looks as though excocite has not been the answer and that virotec are still hanging in there in a small way. | vitamal
17/1/2007 14:11 | Well, the shareholder update could have been better (e.g. Aquasolve has secured contracts worth US$30m) but it could have been much worse (e.g. Aquasolve is still talking with various utilities/states etc. about the possibility of using the technology). The US$30m figure (some £16m) is definitely encouraging, but getting some long term contracts signed is surely going to take some time. Patience is required. The fall in HYR's share price is annoying. I suspect it has been suffering from small cap syndrome (i.e. one biggish seller, no big buyers) rather than anything more suspicious. Any other views? | judge jury
16/1/2007 10:40 | I was wondering why we had not had an update on new contracts for wells. If funding is available end of Jan then lets hope that VTI has put in place contracts ready for signing off when the funds arrive. Does anyone know of any competition in the radium contamination area? | ericeb206
16/1/2007 10:22 | About time they reported something positive, fingers crossed for some decent sales in the USA which does sound promising. | lplp

16/1/2007 08:02 | Well I think with a statement like that these are a serious punt at these levels. | a3whd
10/1/2007 13:16 | Well Eric I think you are correct but with fingers in all those other pies and the bullish statement you would of thought that share price would remain stable. | timben
10/1/2007 12:07 | I sold out of these quite a while ago, and have just come back to see what's happening - same old, really. What in the end made me sell out was what happened in Pennsylvania. If you remember my posts of around that time, I was sceptical, correctly it turned out looking back now. I couldn't understand why they were using particular methods, which I felt could be improved. At the time I deduced that perhaps the company could only do things their way if they gave a potentially crippling guarantee of success. IMHO, as a not terribly financially strong company they chose the other option, which was to show the client past scientific results to get them to carry out the trials, but allow them to dictate the procedures, which gets VTI off any performance "hook". I can't see how they can break out of this catch 22 situation. Regards to anyone still here from that era, and good luck with your investment. | muckshifter
10/1/2007 11:58 | I was just referred to the annual statement but that was about a 3 weeks after it had been made in mid November. He will have to do better than that now. | ericeb206
10/1/2007 11:56 | Thanks Eric you have abviously asked the same questions by the sound of things Whats sort of reply did you get? | timben
10/1/2007 11:05 | Timben Can I suggest you e-mail Angus the secretary. I have always got a reply. | ericeb206
