12/2/2012 21:24 | howdlep - mea culpa, yes I should have said exercise instead of sell, guilty as charged. Looks like we agree though that 'The critical question is whether VIR management think LDP will go higher than the current 0.56p'. I don't think there is any doubt that VIR could have disposed of their entire interest in LDP but chose to keep the warrants. Bearing in mind that VIR have a lot more info on LDP than we have, I think that bodes well for the potential at LDP. | marab
12/2/2012 21:04 | Good point - I hadn't even thought of tax loss offsetting as part of the equation for either but as you say it will probably factor quite heavily in at least one of those mentioned!! | benjq
12/2/2012 20:56 | "and also the tax that will have to be paid on the sale nd profits of the LDP shares, I should imagine that will add up to quite a bit?" I'm not sure if VIR have any trading losses top carry forward into this years accounts to offset the gains, it would need someone with more accountancy skills than I have to go through their previous results. I'm certain that LDP will have a nice tax loss from their previous incarnation and that could be part of their current attraction. | ezlington
12/2/2012 20:09 | I recently bought in here (sadly at a price a little higher than current SP) but still see it as good value with good potential prospects. When it comes to comparing the NAV to the current share price is it not common practise to also include any liabilities, known and unknown and estimated costs due - such as operational costs, and also the tax that will have to be paid on the sale nd profits of the LDP shares, I should imagine that will add up to quite a bit? I see no problem in holding on to the LDP warrants as believe there will be a more profitable selling opportunity in the not too distant future. I sincerely hope I am right as I have quite a sizeable holding of LDP!!! | benjq
12/2/2012 18:41 | marab, Management do not sell the warrants, they exercise them at 0.15p. Then they sell them in the open market. The average price gained will be less than the current share price of 0.56p, as they will sell them in blocks. So lets say they get an average of 0.5p, that would raise about 833k (166.66m x 0.5p = 833k) versus exercise cost of 250k (166.66m x 0.15p). So a profit of approx 583k. That money could then be used for other investments. The critical question is whether VIR management think LDP will go higher than the current 0.56p and whether they have a market to sell the 166m shares. Ideally they would sell them all in one block. pamelling's post (837) underlines why this is so undervalued and why I bought in on Friday. | howdlep
10/2/2012 15:39 | READY FOR ANOTHER RISE a href='http://uk.advf | moochy
10/2/2012 15:07 | supercity - the warrants are well in the money, but the fact that VIR did not sell the LDP warrants suggest more developments but may be a longer term investment imo bwb | marab
10/2/2012 14:50 | marab you still have to pay for them...they are not free. Although you obviously get a very good discount to current market price and if you can sell them straight on make a tidy profit. | supercity
10/2/2012 14:42 | pamelling - I see what you mean now and I presume that the future for LDP looks good as VIR had no problem selling LDP shares when there was a big profit to be had. I think you confused us with your post 'Can't understand why Mr Lee doesn't buy the warrants in LDP.' You obviously meant exercise rather than buy. | marab
10/2/2012 14:34 | Just caused that little tick up, added another 250,000, just don't see much downside here unless they lose all their money on the next deal but as NL has shown himself quite a canny invester I don't see much danger of that happening | sweepie2
10/2/2012 14:34 | What happens if LDP falls back to the warrant option price of 0.15p... zero profit.. Take up the warrants now, sell and bank the profit... Perhaps VIR are in a closed period due to Mr Lee previously sitting on the board of LDP???? | pamelling
10/2/2012 13:55 | Why buy LDP warrants when you already have 166m for free? The company so far has been very good with its timing and I look forward to seeing the money put into another multi bagger imo bwb | marab
10/2/2012 13:44 | surely its only worth buying the LDP warrants if there is another buyer to sell them on to...otherwise your profit dwindles as the share price falls. | supercity

08/2/2012 15:18 | Is .49p the new buy price or sell price, difficult to choose between the two, because of the earlier big sell at .46p I guess its probably the buy price. Anybody confirm? | sweepie2
08/2/2012 14:37 | The Russians are coming ,could I ask that they come a bit quicker. | bronislav
08/2/2012 14:33 | Yes PINN should be having a very good year revenue wise but there is concern about the margains whereabouts here there is of course no concern about margains so am keen to increase here instead of PINN. I still hope for pennies at PINN but hope within 2 years at least 10p here. Be lucky | sweepie2
08/2/2012 13:41 | Still waiting to buy , but not for long ? pinn money will make me rich . | abbey8
08/2/2012 12:37 | It does look like this is going to continue to drop until rumours/news, will be adding at some point again but with this steady decline whats the point in being in a hurry? | sweepie2 |
