"Relative to MONI, VIP looks cheap. However, how do you know that VIP isn't overvalued, and MONI isn't extremely overvalued!?"

when technology is changing......companies involved in what is seen as the future will often have expensive shares.....whether those companies and shares succeed or not, or end up justifying their "in advance" expensive share prices is often difficult or impossible to know in advance

"NEXT" shares are currently expensive......but the shares have multiplied in price many times over the years
(250 times !)
....and much of that time the shares were probably expensive or over priced....if you want the chance to be part of something that might grow a lot, then often it is expensive, c'est la vie.

Will VIP perf. in next 3 to 5 years justify the current share price ?
imo we have to come back in 3 to 5 years to know for sure !

jamielein,

"How do you know that VIP isnt overvalued, and MONI extremely overvalued?"

Good question, we dont know anything for sure, but thats the whole point. Nobody knows how to value VIP currently as there is so little info to go on. We use MONI as an example but if you simply compared VIP's market cap to the sector average which is one way of valuing it, then VIP is very cheap.

If this company is going places it will with or without a few who sold or took profits so don't worry who is selling or holding it doesn't matter!

1.6m will hopefully be this year Next year if we grow in the same vein We could look at 2.5mValuing VIP at 25m

10 x VIp rev of £1.6m = £16m mkt cap - so potentially another £4m left ?

I'm still holding VIP, but just wanted to throw a small spanner in the works for a second:

Relative to MONI, VIP looks cheap. However, how do you know that VIP isn't overvalued, and MONI isn't extremely overvalued!?
