04/11/2013 09:48 | Exactly johnma, very difficult getting back in again! | cfro
04/11/2013 09:45 | I guess one way or the other we will find out if winnifroth is right or not. To me a placing should be welcomed, the money will be needed for growth. MONI raised funds and the shares took off. My expectation is that VIP will do something similar. I dont believe, unlike others here, that this share is one to trade back and forth. The shares are way too illiquid. You can pat yourself on the back for quickly getting out Friday with a teeny profit but in the grand scheme of things you dont multi-bag your money by being 'clever' like this. | cfro
04/11/2013 09:38 | Just got quoted 12.4p for 100k | johnma
04/11/2013 09:17 | and also a video www.shareprophets.ad | phoenix1234
04/11/2013 08:59 | bb - dont think it will go back that far, but we shall see. I would be happy with 8! | janeann
04/11/2013 08:29 | Falling to around the 6p level by the looks of it. A wise move selling i believe. | battlebus2
02/11/2013 22:22 | Well me and my pals see this as an opportunity - feel free to sell your shares because we believe in the company and will be buying next week...... | johnma
02/11/2013 18:05 | Each to their own trading styles, but reacting to stupid idiotic commentators is investing suicide. Two salient points: 1) placing is likely as company will need funds to grow. 2) 6p as suggested is most likely NOT going to be the price it is done at. I dare say we will find out very soon imo whether winnifroth is proved right or not. | cfro
02/11/2013 07:54 | cfro At the end of the day a profit is a profit so I am content. If there isnt a heavily discounted placing I can always come back; but if there is, past experience with many stocks (not all) suggests there will be a sizeable pullback, and the risk for me therefore outweighs the potential reward. (And the likelihood of small PIs being invited to participate in such a discounted placing seems small to me) | janeann
01/11/2013 21:21 | Sorry to disappoint you cfro but i've kept the 40% i got for free so nothing to lose as it were. A placing was a probability as you say but at 6p if it turns out to have any truth it's just too much discount when the shares are trading at 11p. I very very rarely ever take profits for me it's usually a buy or a sell but in this scenario it's prudent to be cautious and still keeping faith with the company at the same time. I suspect the news to come with the trading update shortly which may lead me to buy back we will see. Only a small punt in my portfolio but still treating it the same way. | battlebus2
01/11/2013 18:25 | I just cannot believe that people listen to these so-called 'commentators' and take them seriously. To read here that some of you have sold on the back of this 'news' from these idiots is quite remarkable and i am shaking my head in dis-belief. A placing has always been likely as the company is running on director loans and will actually be a very positive development. MONI raised finance and the shares took off to the moon, so if VIP do the same i will be very pleased. :-)) Whether old winnifroth is proved right and there is a placing at 6p remains to be seen, but do you know what!?......i wouldnt bet on him being right! | cfro
01/11/2013 17:27 | just up www.shareprophets.ad | phoenix1234
01/11/2013 17:21 | Interesting rumour. Cash was the one issue I was conscious of in my report. However, if it does take place at 6p, that is a 40% discount to today's price (approx) or a 25% discount to the average share price area over the last month (8p). Given the recent buying pressure, I'd expect that if it is done at 6p, it would be for maybe £2m which would require the issuing of 33.33m new shares. That is roughly a 26% dilution. Realistically then I would expect any move downwards to be bought into in any circumstances (unless the dilution is significantly more, but I can't see why that would be the case - I expect any placing would be to facilitate expansion through the leads they've created). Thus if there is a placing and it is at 6p, the share price could feasibly drop back to 8p as a base case, and then I reckon there's a significant possibility that a rebound could occur in short order. The certainty that the placing could give would be beneficial, and if they take the opportunity to update the market at the same time, it could be a short-term blip that has positive connotations. Will wait and see. El1te | el1te
01/11/2013 16:00 | Well, if they raise funds and do a 'monitise'....that'l | cfro
01/11/2013 15:59 | Not sure what to make of the recent posts here but on the basis of a reasonable profit in a short space of time I have sold my small holding. Will watch with interest Now to work out what esle has real potential. | janeann
01/11/2013 15:57 | ...on the fundamentals etc....agreed... btw i guess there is a high chance that the co. will perhaps issue an rns in reply to this media rumour and hopefully include mention that trading is good or in line... | smithie6
01/11/2013 15:50 | Don't be unsettled by such trivia - research the website, look at the Interims and consider the business on its fundamentals Not Tom who? | johnma
01/11/2013 15:34 | one idea maybe Winnifroth and his mates want to pick up some volume which otherwise they cant do since VIP is illiquid so, to worry shareholders would be in his favour ---- at cupid....Winnifroth was changing his mind....buy....then sell.... hopefully not as a result of what his collegue Evil Knievel wanted him to produce... ---- he appears a bit de-ranged check out his website...and his attacks on some PR woman he doesnt like ..."from the land of sheep shaggers" etc quite whacko for a tipsters who should surely provide an official style ---- dont forget the disaster he created at Rivington street on plus invested in owning a pizza restaurant to software co. to normal finance house stuff it fell over big time... | smithie6
01/11/2013 15:32 | I will say this though. I think is placing is somewhat likely (at some point based on cash flow which I believe Sailing JOhn highlighted too), but my opinion is it will likely be at a slim discount and probably in an RNS with either results or additional contracts. So far the directors have conducted themselves well here so I will continue to give them the benefit of the doubt for now. Massive potential here. | critch16
01/11/2013 15:32 | I don't normally take profits but in this case i have, 40% left so no worries. | battlebus2
01/11/2013 15:22 | Funny Winnfrith wrote an article about another called Bullabulling gold indicating they would go bust. The company has just reported 5.5m in cash on the balance sheet - where is he now. | johnma
01/11/2013 15:11 | any chance it would be a placing with Citibank !! that would do nicely ! monitise took Visa on board as a large shareholder if my memory is correct ---- Winnifroth mkt would be better of without him and his gang of tipsters about 5 of them wrote saying why ..should sell Globo organised mkt manipulation ? if you have X hundreds or thousands receiving an e-mail....it can move prices... | smithie6
01/11/2013 14:40 | How come Winnifroth knows before everyone else!?? In any case a placing could well be very welcome news here and i doubt very much that it would be done at such a large discount anyway (6p). | cfro |
