15/2/2018 20:38 | Abacus You are deviating from our initial debate. If you think there has been manipulation in the VOG SETS order book this week will you be contacting the FCA ? | highasakite
15/2/2018 20:29 | It is not illegal to manipulate the market by buying and selling stock, in a weak market the results can be spectacular.Spread betting has a major influence in these situations as people can buy and sell stock with only putting up a fraction of the money, but when they get shut out of a position it has a major effect which can then cause an avalanche effect . | abacus2
15/2/2018 20:24 | "If a large buy order is placed by someone with deep pockets and the only way to fill it is by triggering smaller investor stops that sounds to me like manipulation." There was no big buy order on level 2. The shares fell from 40p to 30p because of 2.5 million ish shares in big blocks being sold which were clearly not individuals. | highasakite
15/2/2018 20:18 | Am I bitter? Yes! Rant over. | kingyon1
15/2/2018 20:16 | If a large buy order is placed by someone with deep pockets and the only way to fill it is by triggering smaller investor stops that sounds to me like manipulation. Bad enough having to cope with an inept bod let alone someone hoovering up stock cheap when they they should be made to buy in the open market at current price rather than driving it down to fill their boots. | kingyon1
15/2/2018 19:58 | yes private stops triggered but not ii investors stops triggered as abacus says as they don't exist in the real world. | highasakite
15/2/2018 19:50 | Make no mistake, where there is money involved there will be skulllduggery afoot. My stops and plenty others no doubt triggered to fill a buy order. | kingyon1
15/2/2018 19:34 | If u think the VOG share price has been manipulated down this week I suggest you contact the FCA urgently. They would laugh at your letter/ email. | highasakite
15/2/2018 19:31 | How many private individuals own 2.5 million VOG shares ? Nobody. Not even me. Your comments about the market being manipulated down by triggered institutional stop losses it ludicrous. | highasakite
15/2/2018 18:39 | Sorry why does it have to be an institution to make sales of 100k shares?Surely with the amount you post on here you must have far more shares than that, so why wouldn't it be some one like you or a number of people like you? | abacus2
15/2/2018 18:21 | someone else not getting paid by Cam Government. | highasakite
15/2/2018 18:10 | Yes I do. Your talk of stop losses being triggered by big holders (2.5 million of sells in recent days) and a manipulated order book is complete and utter drivel. There was a big seller (must have been an ii not a private individual) but they haven't sold because of triggered stop losses as u said. This is utter drivel. Institutions don't use stop losses. | highasakite
15/2/2018 18:01 | Tell me HAK do you have level 2?Probably not, as you'd know that a dealer can collapse the book easily by taking out all the buy orders so pushing the price down in exactly the same way as they can increase the price if they are happy to take sells out. | abacus2
15/2/2018 16:16 | Is it really worth having customers like ENEO if they don't actually pay. | eldermon
15/2/2018 14:02 | From Business in Cameroon. Kribi gas power plant is gradually increasing the volume of energy it supplies to ENEO. The normalization follows an agreement between KPDC (which built and operates the power plant) and ENEO about the debt the latter owes the former. This was revealed on February 14, 2018, in Kribi by Joël Nana Kontchou, the managing director of ENEO, during the inauguration of his company’s headquarters in Sanaga Océan. Later last year, due to ENEO’s debts which reached the critical threshold, KPDC reduced the generating capacity of Kribi gas power plant by 100 MW. Consequently, ENEO was deprived of the energy necessary to supply its clients in the southern interconnected system. Unable to pay its debts, ENEO in turn referenced about CFA100 billion Cameroon owes it. These debts included the consumption of public institutions and the debt in the framework of the tariff compensation plan. Once government paid a portion (CFA15 billion) of that debt, ENEO was also able to pay part of its debt, thus soothing the collaboration between the companies controlled by Actis, the British investment fund. GDC next perhaps.... let's hope so | robbiekeane
15/2/2018 13:53 | HAK seeing the rubbish you put on here you probably haven't got a clue how the market works, the manipulation has been going on for the last week where the market has been pushed down in an effort to trigger stop losses which explains the spike in trades on tuesday,30p was an obvious level for people to set hence the reason who ever is doing it managed to pick up the best part of 2.5 m shares, the market is now being pushed up in the hope that people will now sell in case it goes back down. | abacus2
15/2/2018 13:08 | abacus2 The order book is not being manipulated at all. There is a clear buyer pushing up the bid price and mopping up all sells. No manipulation at all. Where is the manipulation ? The ENEO situation will be sorted very soon I am sure. clearly this buyer thinks likewise. | highasakite
15/2/2018 12:51 | Fatnacker I would tend to agree with you but Actis are still investing in cameroon dispite all the problems they are having with their investment in Eneo, and I believe that Eneo extended the contract for another three yesrs, which seems strange when we know they have been struggling to get their money. The payment situation has got to get sorted out and if Eneo/Actis can take advantage of the current problems and get hold of GDC at the current discounted share price it has got to be good for them going forward. The other thing is that someone is manipulating the book and hoovering up large numbers of shares, strange timing when you think there is so much uncertainty, but if you knew what the future held its a totally different proposition. this could all be the ramblings of a desperate man but.......... | abacus2
15/2/2018 12:35 | no gloating at other people's misfortunes, please. | roddyb |
