WE were fed this not long ago.21 dec.

The impact of the new customer connections and an early uplift in ENEO consumption this year is already being reflected in current production figures with an average of 10.04 mmscf/d gas sales achieved to date in December (1-19th December), peaking at 14.94mmscf/d.



ENEO continued to consume high levels of gas at the Logbaba and Bassa power stations during the Q4 period to date and GDC will continue to provide gas to ENEO under existing contract extensions whilst negotiations on a longer-term contract continue.

SO why people ask did foo not stop supplying gas to ENEO?
He has let them run up a debt of $8.9m.
Well the fact is foo will still get his royalty from this gas, even if they have not paid.

they should now suspend any further infrastructure or wells works and return the recent cash raised in the placing to shareholders...but they won't cos they're self serving egotistical disrespectful cad and bounders, worst of all the worst....

Not happy with short to medium term solution time line either. Seems to suggest could be dealt with as a matter of urgency or can kicked down the road.

Yes, what an unfair time to announce. Trading didn't actually end until the auction uncrossing at 16:45:45 (after two extension periods), giving those with SETS access a chance to sell and/or short (not that many did, judging by the 185k volume). It would have been fairer to have waited a few more minutes, until the auction uncrossed. They either messed up, or they wanted it that way.

Holders are now going to have to sweat it out all weekend ahead of Monday morning, when I guess it will be booted down further with stops getting hit.

Let's hope that GDC haven't paid for LA 109 and the other major capex upfront.
Cameroon is now coming into the dry season, so its going to get messy.
I wonder if Globeleq (Dibamba) is being paid. Somehow I doubt it.
A very small positive is that gas used in on-site power generation is likely to increase but ..
