10/1/2023 18:09 | Dear Arthur, I have read the full Moody’s statement (see link below) and the actual position is this: Moody’s changed the outlook for consumer-facing companies at the end of last year due to their view that there will be a recession in 2023. It isn’t a “downgradeR Further, Standard & Poors also reviewed Victoria’s credit rating at the end of the year and did not change its outlook for Victoria, believing the company is well-placed to weather any uncertainty. www.moodys.com/resea | black boulder

10/1/2023 02:25 | I notice Gorgeous Geoff hasn't bothered RNS'ing the fact that Moody's have downgraded their debt from stable to negative (it's already got a junk bond rating). He couldn't stop crowing last time it got upgraded to stable. Still I expect that: 1) The results will show yet another record year. 2) They'll be truly awful as per usual. | arthur_lame_stocks
07/1/2023 18:09 | Ah well, if you are on a rate fixed fir 2 years from July 21 you will have escaped the increases imposed in 2022, so have been lucky with that. Mt fixed rate ended last April and the standard variable rate I got stuck with was a lot more. However, there won't be another significant increase from Jan 1. I don't know what is happening to business rates, however, but unless they want to put everyone out of business, I don't see how they can charge such extortionate rates if wholesale prices have come down a lot, which I understand they have. Scope for campaign. | bouleversee
07/1/2023 17:09 | lets talk domestic.....Prices first The current rate is 32p a KWH increasing with the cap at the end of march to 42p per kwh. My Home contract until July is 15p a KWH. This was set up in July 21. Business I am paying 12p per KWH and my quote BEFORE support was 68p and now mid 50`s. Therefore my monthly work bill now £3750 will be over £15000 a month. Prices must be going to reset much lower very soon. tiger | castleford tiger
07/1/2023 16:29 | Have you actually checked what the unit rate you will be charged from Jan 1 will be? I think you will find it is almost the same as from Oct. Your supplier might try to increase your d.d. but unless you are on a fixed rate deal you can ask to pay for what you actually use each month and since the weather is warmer and the unit rate very little higher you should find you are paying less than last month. | bouleversee
07/1/2023 15:40 | Why are we all paying 4 and 5 times what we were on Oct 21 when gas ( used in generating electricity) is now below what it was. Someone is having us all over. | castleford tiger
07/1/2023 12:19 | I posted the below twice because I saw that the links didn’t work on my iPhone or iPad, but I see they still don’t work on my iPhone or iPad, so if anyone wants to use them they will need to be copy and pasted into a browser. | black boulder
