Will do. Potentially a zero.

Carry on shorting, looks like it's helping a price rise at the moment ;-)

This company is hugely leveraged by debt which I believe is unsustainable. The margins it claims on it's recent continental acquisitions are not credible. The share sale by Wilding and the fact he has borrowed against his equity is a red flag. I am short and well in the money.

Seeing as they had 80 million in cash after the 330 million euros of senior notes were issued, my opinion it that there is another decent sized acquisition on the cards (or multiple smaller ones).

(Elsewhere, following the successful issuance of senior secured notes in July, Victoria was, in addition to achieving organic growth, continuing to pursue further value-creating acquisitions in Europe.
"There is no shortage of acquisition opportunities but, mindful of financial leverage levels, the board is proceeding cautiously," said Victoria.)

Maybe they have a few possibilities lined up but are holding out for a specific company as a preference. Only time will tell!

Yes, need a full year of cash flow generation before any more big deals in my view. They have done a small deal already.

Good update.Sounds like they might be reigning in acquisitions for a while.

I think VCP need to go into a bit more detail on this latest acquisition because is hasn't had the desired affect on the share price. The opposite in fact.

This was in the report-"the Acquisition would represent a multiple of less than 5x EBITDA for the 12 months prior to completion."My working out at a guess is-Previous EBITDA for 2018 was £2.8 million. So a rough estimate is £14 million

It's probably a fair warning that you are talking about. But what else do you do in the present circumstances - give it to the Banks or investment company's who rip you off with high charges.I've moved some into Gold (miners) at the moment but that's being manipulated by all.You look at my previous posts and I still believe the end game with VCP is a takeover from an American Conglomerate.Mr Wilding stayed at the outset that he wouldn't stay for longer than 2 or 3 years. He's still here

Methinks you are too modest. Good luck to you but you have been warned.

Well, I'm a widow (and possibly a moron)and have held for many years before Wilding came along. I'm not sure I entirely trust him after the way he enriched himself at the outset but you have to hand it to him that he got the company back on track and things seem to be going OK at the moment and I am prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt for the time being. I think the company has a good a chance as any of making money in the present crazy conditions. I must check on the holdings of the original family members. I remember a large purchase at a favourable share price no that long ago but not sure whether any have been sold since.

No actual figures given for the price of the acquisition. Be warned this is not a stock for widows and orphans, let alone bulletin board morons.

No need to be rude, Rotrader. It was a perfectly valid question as the statement was all about proportions and percentages and multiples but no actual figures, though if one has the time and inclination, I presume one could work it out from Ibero's balance sheet (if that is easily accessible) but not all of us can be bothered or has the time, which presumably doesn't apply to you.

Remind me why we had that big drop last year. Actually, I'm not sure I ever knew unless it was due to shorting which I hate as much as ramping. I am in the LTBH camp myself but since I think it likely that VCP will be taken over or disappear from AIM before I croak, though that is possibly going to be sooner rather than later, I took advantage of the big drop to offload all my VCP certificated shares to family who promptly put them in ISAs and I bought more in my ISA where a profitable takeover would not be a cgt problem. All I have to do now, to avoid an IHT problem on the gifted shares is live another six and a half years or so which is no more guaranteed that VCP's share price and I'm not feeling all that lucky in that respect, punk. All in the lap of the gods.

Do your home work, looks good to me."The purchase price for the Acquisition is split into a payment on completion (the "Completion Payment") and a contingent payment, which is to be paid in May 2020, subject to Ibero meeting a specific performance target (the "Contingent Consideration"). The Completion Payment represents less than 3x LTM earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation ("EBITDA") of Ibero and, assuming the Contingent Consideration is paid in full, the purchase price for the Acquisition would represent a multiple of less than 5x EBITDA for the 12 months prior to completion."

What is the consideration for the Spanish acquisition? Very odd announcement. Why weren't we told the price? I don't trust this company at all. One to short perhaps.

Just my opinion - Brexit will happen and then VCP are in a better place than most UK company's, with their European and Australian divisions.

The Brexit inference was obvious but I still ask why then, since we have no idea whether it will actually happen on Oct 31, if at all and if it does why that should make VCP fly at that point. Seems to be going up quite nicely already, however.
