Where's the broker update John? Do you have the links? Thanks. |
Morning all |
Another 6m shares traded yesterday. Seems every day there’s several million traded
The last 2 days have been green even if they haven’t felt overly satisfying after romping to 131p intraday on Tuesday
I’m sure though after that really strong intraday recovery yesterday that today will be a good one
Did anyone see the broker updates ? |
Some heavy buying there |
150k buy 113 Another director? |
RNS are one thing in terms of ”watch what they say!”
But all these share purchases are in the realms of “but pay even more attention to what they do….” |
Some of the candlesticks on the charts last 2 days are gonna look nuts |
MVGA indeed lol |
Some turn around, you gotta love the Americans (in a VCP sense)
MVGA |
Given some of the post 2.30pm price action l;ast few weeks i can only assume we have buyers in the US
Well we know one of the new IIs is Californian of course |
The company has taken steps to reduce costs, including £12 million in savings already implemented and another £20 million expected in FY2025. The total cost savings are projected to exceed £80 million by FY2027 |
"100m pounds a year"
Where did you see this? |
Auction that's why. |
No quote again HL |
Another 200k buy just before 2pm. He continues to add I'm guessing. |
Saqib Karim now up to 6.13% within a MONTH.
He's MD of EZI Floor that #VCP acquired in Oct 2016 for up to £13m |
There may be a takeover coming, but I feel that the insider buying is more related to the restructuring and the planned cost savings of nearly 100m pounds a year.
Victoria has never really made any money even in it's best year but if they really can cut costs of 100m a year then they have a chance of making 50m profit a year which would definitely leave the equity looking cheap.
I'm not sure it's so easy though, Koch haven't exercised their right to convert their loan notes at the lows so I wonder if this isn't a bit of a last roll of the dice for VCP. |
Yet another canary in the coalmine: a Victoria insider has filed a TR-1 stating he has crossed 6% ownership having acquired an additional 1.2 million shares since Christmas. |
Saqib Karim Just acquired another 1% of the company
Transaction was yesterday so he paid between 102p and 131p
The skin in the game here particularly with Joe Scribbins NED appointment given his interest is all quite incredible |
Did think that there was a takeover in the air with the recent rise on little news, could someone have got the Victoria property GRIO takeover mixed up. |
agreed, PI selling/taking profit, but as Markie points out, IMO the upside is tremendous given flip from debt to equity value....THAT IMO is why the instis have bought in as they are more patient than the traders!!
DYOR |
I guess a few stops are being taken out, profits being taken. I expect another holding RNS after those late trades.
Pull back is annoying but I expect us to return to the re-rate shortly |
thats ok - you don't want high organic growth in the model here. it is a simple debt / equity switch over time. patience will out. huge medium term upside. |
Interesting that the broker has only included 3% revenue growth per year to 2027
If the flooring market recovers this could easily be beaten.
It's looking for direction today. |
Good morning Markie7, good post & fair point.
Looking in X, someone has posted current (pre today RNS I presume) refi consensus pre IFRS EBITDA number for 2027 at £144m.
So with upgrades & possible revenue recovery, there is a fair story of repaying c.£200-300m over next 3-4 years, thus making Markie7s story a good one.
DYOR as ever and views please! QS99 |
