i agree common sense tells you they are struggling to raise any decent amount even at 1p . they have struggled to raise before as can be seen with the low amounts recently, almost game over here . they should have split the business and put them up for sale but probably too late now as not enough funds . i wonder just how much money is actually coming in from all those deals in reality . if it is minimal then admin would be the most likely option

I doubt the FCA will have any relevant VRS RNSs to investigate. WAN released a load of "deal" RNSs. Versarien don't appear to have ever released any such RNSs as they don't appear to have ever sold anything of significance.

Will you be surprised to see real news this time, not a Tweet from a golf course similar to this ? - - - WANdisco Plc

WANdisco plc
("WANdisco" or the "Company")

FCA Investigation

WANdisco (LSE: WAND), the data activation platform, has been notified by the Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") of its commencement of an investigation into the Company. The investigation relates to certain regulatory announcements released by the Company during the period 1 January 2022 to 9 March 2023, which may have materially mis-stated the Company's financial position.

The Board is co-operating with the FCA in this endeavour, in addition to continuing to support the completion of the independent investigation already being undertaken by FRP Advisory.

How can you sell something that is entirely worthless at best, and possibly doesn't actually exist?

I am even doubting their never-audited results for the last 5 years. Where all the money raised gone if they produce a few grams of powder they offer free of charge for "testing" ? Is this why Nick Faldo junior left the sinking boat ? WAND story comes to mind.

Surely instead of selling off the working businesses, they need to sell off the graphene business and just carry on vacuum forming bed pans or whatever AC Cyroma do and the other non core business.

I am expecting Admin news to arrive any day now - in the absence of any communication from the company itself, one has to assume that actual sales of things 'graphenes' has amounted to NIL (or very close to it).

I think VRS has now run out of time (and cash).

Although there was some words put out that 'tonnes' of the stuff had been produced, I am not sure any such words were slotted into any of the 'official' results announcements, where those used the words 'capacity', rather than give any clue as to actual production levels.

My sense that VRS will continue to be fully vague until the end comes, and we may never actually know what the truth is / was.

David
