David Stone role
Phase One: Stabilisation
• Work up a 100 day plan that includes:
○ Focus of cost cutting
○ Pause all non-core activities that will not impact longer term development.
○ Review which areas of the Company (Group) can achieve breakeven, positive EBITDA quickly.
○ Continue with the sale of the two non-core businesses: Total Carbide Ltd & AAC Cyroma Ltd.
David Stone role
Phase Two: Strategic Plan
• Review and redefine the approach the Company (Group) takes with:
○ Commercial opportunities / Joint Ventures
○ How to transition from R & D to commercial
○ What resource is needed for R & D and pre-commercial development
○ How to exit elements of Company / Group that are defined as non-core going forward.
○ Plan Roadmap for delivery.
Conclusion
“We will continue to seek grant funding to support our operations but will also
need the support of investors either strategic or in capital markets to fund the
business until such time as the graphene market gains traction and material
commercial revenues flow.”

Cost base and options
Introduction and working with David Stone
Cost base
• Historic burn rate has been ~ £400,000 per month
• Redundancies and other cost cutting measures have been made providing costs savings which are
now coming into effect
• Future burn rate needs further reducing to match availability of funding
Options
• Divest two mature businesses - Total Carbide and AAC Cyroma
• Review overseas operations in Spain and South Korea
• Concentrate on construction and textiles sectors – return to other sectors when profitable
• Retain core know-how and IP
• Minimise PLC overheads

#VRS Hands up

A total mess, no interest by the board to fix the mess they made!

Shame as felt it had potential, but what can you do if the company aren't willing the help itself

When did you realise that this was a POS?

I really feel sorry for any naive still believing there is some kind of outcome. We are dealing with an empty shell, without any cash or technology, with no prospect or future at all.
So IMO there is nothing to wait for apart from an announcement for suspension in Aim after calling in the administrators. However, PI's must push for clarity regarding turnover, losses etc. announced for the last 5 years because I am not sure these were audited at all. When one is dealing with crooks, you have to push to get any money back. Just check out what's happening with WAND where many were already trapped and losing thousands.

100%. When iceagefarmer aka John Casey and his fantasy city mates and those fantasy Mayfair lads and their fantasy big fat wedge turn up you know a share is totally doomed. The big question is will he have to sell his van, which would be worrying as there's so few public conveniences these days.
