Was hoping for a drop to buy more, but it looks too strong.

It may be a small amount of graphine added to the carbon fibre mix.See what they say on Thursday, they may not want to give too much away.

This is all I could come up with about a UoM and UoS link..

Interesting that the chassis is being built for a supercar as opposed to an F1 car.
There is a fixed weight on an F1 car, so making a lighter chassis would be of no advantage, but on a road car weight saving would mean fuel saving.

Maclaren to build supercars at Rotherham in Yorkshire, tied in with University of Sheffield, partly because of the latter's expertise in carbon fibre technology.

No mention of graphene in the press release, but this is worth keeping an eye on. Can anyone dredge up a link between UoS and UoM/NGI?

Well the news was the NGI had an OEM interested in VRS graphene. That followed directly on from proof of it's performance. Now Mclaren rave about it's performance.

It was all for a product or products to launch within 6 months. A small order followed by a bigger order with Mclaren hinting at something else appearing using graphene after what would be small level use in the watch.

Far too many matches and they say they worked with the NGI.

Professor Young who commented on the VRS carbon fibre performance enhancement in the rns then appears at the launch of the Mclaren watch.

Verrry interestink, und not so stupid.

Like I said before, I can't believe that the snippet about the Maclaren watch on the new website would have been put there if the graphene had been sourced from elsewhere. UOM's partnership with Maclaren would surely have provided the material. UOM are shareholders in VRS via NGI. QED. Say no more. Nudge Nudge wink wink, know what I mean squire?

BTW, look at the volume today. Strewth, over 2 million already -that's over twice the vol of any day for 3 years.

I missed this

Here is Mclaren talking about adding graphene to carbon fibre and you can tell how pleased they are with the breakthrough.

Clearly 1 graphene source was used for the watch and for the strap another.

You will see he goes on about it being a 2d hexagonal lattice.

Mclaren at the event have an F1 car in black with orange hexagonal lattices on. Then multi lattices on the balcony wall above.

Wtf are they up to. Everything seems to point to graphene going into their cars.

Well done all, I have only just had access to my screen having been in meetings and away from home. I suspect that there will be a good few more rns's in the months to come.

I did mention the chart aspect a few weeks ago. It didn't need much of a trigger with all the latent potential.

TheKLF 27 Jan '17 - 15:15 - 1276 of 1492 3 0 Edit

IF you believe in charts there looks to be a major downtrend channel about to be broken. Can lead to quite explosive moves. I agree that based on fundamentals 25p seems realistic value.

Yes

A bit chaotic with high mover chasers perhaps when the dust settles in time they will realise the dust cloud actually has something very very important in it.

There are a couple more dust clouds on the way. Some I know of and others clearly in play due to CEO comments.

As I said I knew the website and launch was coming as I found it and have been tracking it. What I didn't expect was so much dust from something which if you read the details has been known by a few for some time and posted about in great detail here.

The Klf

Re capacitors I just mention it as that info is new.

Add in that the WMG claims to be ahead of the world re a more efficient new battery.

Couple that with the WMG collaboration on batteries and then the open day comment where it was said for some reason their graphene was working very well in batteries where other product was not.

I don't know enough about it yet to expand on what that is all about.

All I know is and have for some time is their graphene nano
platelets are the lead and can be produced anywhere in any amount depending on demand, it's modular. It can be licenced too.
