09/12/2019 17:47 | We were very pleased to announce earlier this year that Versrien plc successfully completed a rigorous physical inspection at their production facility which included a full characterization of a random material sample that was performed by the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in the UK. The NPL is arguably the most experienced metrology lab in the world when it comes to characterizing graphene materials. | markyboy5

09/12/2019 15:51 | Sandbag post 85494 - Well that is the ideal world isn't it where you have a batch of commodity suppliers of graphene with the same standards and you beat them down to get the best volume / price - will be min 5 years before the industry is like that for 2D graphene ... its nearly there for multi layer (think more nanographite). Unfortunately it is clear that if you want quality then there market is very limited so if that is what your application requires then your choice is rather clear. Secondly in terms of leverage if you have the graphene material of the right quality that can deliver unique benefits and commercial prices and scale in multi geographies, then you have the leverage to create your own graphene enhanced supply chain for brands to use allowing you to capture more of the value, and or to put brands into a competitive position to meet your terms so that only 1 / 5 of them will get the unique benefits into their products. Big companies with low growth only have to look at the data to know the impact ... a lot of disruption, market share / revenue losses and angry shareholders ... who will blink first?! To me the graphene council (and UoM) have always blurred the lines of few layer (2D under 10 layers) and multi layer graphene in order to make their position more tenable ... the reality is that for many applications there isn't a competitive marketplace as their are problems that can only be solved by VRS materials (AECOM arch) or problems that can be solved x10 better than the competitor solutions but with the potential to scale fast (Textiles) and those are the areas that VRS are doubling down on. Remember we are not in the business of selling 2D material inks and powders, we are in the business of vertically integrating and creating 2D material supply chains to service brands globally that we can control and generate value from. | ![]() mikebrenner
09/12/2019 14:53 | hello Sandbag, Reference "multiple sources of supply", as I said yesterday a problem. Customers will want to feel secure and play all the usual price games with suppliers to beat the price down. However if they leave it to late or are complacent they will find themself's behind the curve and late to market. I think being able to advise the customer 'how to use it' will be very important to. | ![]() laginaneil
09/12/2019 14:08 | Thanks dgDuncan - Looks like Patrick's conversion wasn't difficult; You too could be an instant online minister - no religious belief necessary That's America for ya. If I were ordained thus, I might mention that donations to my ministry could be made via my bank or my Paypal account. I see Patrick has instantly offered a somewhat wider list of donation routes, namely: Cash, Check, Money Order, 2C2P, Adyen, Alipay, Amazon Payments, Atos, Authorize.Net, BIPS, BitPay, BPAY, Braintree, CentUp, Creditcall, CyberSource, Digital River, Dwolla, ecoPayz, Elavon, Euronet Worldwide, eWAY, First Data, Fortumo, GoCardless, Heartland Payment Systems, Ingenico, Instamojo Payment Gateway, IP Payments, Klarna, ModusLink, MPay, Neteller, Nochex, PagSeguro, Payoneer, PayPal, PayPoint, Paysbuy, Payzone, Qiwi, Realex Payments, Red Dot Payment, Skrill, Square, Stripe, TFI Markets, TIMWE, TransferWise, True Money, Verifone, WebMoney, WePay, Wirecard, Worldpay, Xendpay, Xsolla, Yandex.Money PS: I'm an atheist - but apparently that's not regarded as an obstacle to becoming ordained. PPS: Perhaps I could be ordained as a Minister of Versarienism, A man of the (Nanene enhanced) cloth. Perhaps we all could ;-) (And it's free) | ![]() grabster |
