17/6/2019 18:43 | More on Jabil's interest in graphene... certainly sounds like a company that would like to be introduced to VRS, presuming they haven't already met... | woodpeckers
17/6/2019 18:33 | Looking forward to any feedback from the lunch tomorrow please guys. | woodpeckers
17/6/2019 18:28 | yeah, the possibilities of the BIGT RNS are immense. VRS will basically become THE Chinese graphene supplier. And China is going big into graphene. 2+2 will equal 4 in the not-too-distant future. | bisho4
17/6/2019 18:26 | 4D printing using smart materials - are we talking possibly 2D materials here ? Best ellis '4D printing and a world of smart materials.' Andrew Bolwell Jul 25, 2018 "..Numerous organizations are pouring money in 4D printing research and development, including Airbus SAS who is using 4D-related “smart” material that reacts to temperature to cool jet engines and a wing that morphs according to aerodynamic conditions to decrease air resistance. Briggs Automotive Company is developing a morphable wing for its supercar that can adjust to external weather conditions and automatically adjust itself to provide maximum downforce to the car.Tibbits sees numerous uses for 4D printing technology, including footwear that can adapt to particular sports: “If I start running,”  Shane Wall, our chief technology officer at HP believes, “That is what 4D printing is about, self-assembly. The ability to program a particular area of the material and be able to activate it through heat, water, chemical reaction, pressure and many other external influences to actually do self-assembly. Altogether these represent what we believe will be the next industrial revolution and a fundamental transformation in manufacturing overall.” Wall said 4D printing technology is not merely a novelty, but a necessity due to increasing urbanization caused by world population growth that is expected to reach 8 billion people over the next 30 years. This will cause an increase in “megacities The 4D printing industry is expected to be worth upwards of $537 million by 2025 and grow by a CAGR of 42.95 percent between 2019 and 2025. This is being driven by the need to reduce the costs of manufacturing and processing in the face of an increasing focus to ensure a sustainable environment. “A 4D printed product would incur lesser manufacturing, transportation, and handling costs, which, in turn, would lead to the saving of resources and efforts, thereby sustaining the environment,” according to a report by Grandview Research. The primary materials segments used for 4D printing are programmable carbon fiber, programmable wood grain, and programmable textiles, with the programmable carbon fiber segment expected to be the largest segment in the overall 4D printing market, according to the Grandview Research. Since programmable carbon fiber has high stiffness, low weight, and tensile strength, it can be beneficial for many industrial applications, says Grandview Research. It can be autonomously transformed by printing active material on flexible carbon fiber using heat as an activator and it doesn’t require complex electronics, actuators, or sensors..." | ellissj
17/6/2019 18:23 | Have to say, I'm getting a little tired of reading cryptic sh8t whether here on on NR twitter. Could do with some proper news. | clint fleecewood
17/6/2019 18:15 | So NRs warm tweet a tad previous? | alchemy
17/6/2019 18:15 | Reading the RNS again thoroughly, looks like the BIGT deal could propel VRS into China in a big way. I am very excited for the coming medium term news, we are very well positioned internationally. Korea and Japan haven't even entered the conversation yet. Can you imagine when we have China govt support, USA production and big links in these regions in addition? I can, hence Im holding in spite of turbulence. | ilikegraphene
17/6/2019 18:05 | rainbow2317 Jun '19 - 08:48 - 70736 of 70782 Edit 0 2 0 Looks like another profitable day coming up. And so it came to pass (again). | rainbow23
17/6/2019 17:16 | Jabil and Renault F1 Team to collaborate on 3D printed racecar parts Hope they’re using Nanene! “The Renault F1 Team is an early adopter of 3D printing technology and continually seeks to produce lightweight parts without compromising part strength or integrity” They are certainly looking at graphene: “Materials science drives product innovation. For example, material scientists studied graphite and synthesized graphene — flat carbon, one molecule thick, and a semiconductor. Because it is astoundingly strong, flexible, and conductive, its potential uses are extraordinary, from medical diagnostics to display screens. When material scientists played with graphite, they created a galaxy of product possibilities. Jabil is at the forefront of integrating advances like these into products and manufacturing techniques.” | woodpeckers
17/6/2019 17:02 | Hi Mjatkin, I emailed LSE direct this morning re the Shanghai-London connect link asking whether it would be open to AIM listed companies and received the following response: "Many thanks for your question. At this stage only Premium listed issuers on the Main Market are eligible to list through Shanghai-London Stock Connect. We do hope that the programme will expand to a wider universe of issuers in the future and it is very much a long-term project". | aquaesulis01
17/6/2019 16:56 | Shorts are getting desperate. | rogerbridge
17/6/2019 16:36 | The idea of the lunch tomorrow is to put some meat on the bones of something that's already been RNSd. | melf
17/6/2019 16:33 | I’m still celebrating the China term sheet news, the massive strides taken in the US and the growing number of collabs in the hopper. I still haven’t really stopped celebrating being the only verified graphene producer in the world either. The China stock market news today is yet another thing to celebrate as looks like one day the doors will open for AIM shares too. Many many reasons to be cheerful. We’re probably due an update on Korea and Japan soon too. Soon my butler will bring me my champagne, save my knees | mjatkin82
17/6/2019 16:32 | Ignoring all the daily rubbish from Teepee, I actually do predict an RNS tomorrow, with some more information regarding BGIT and maybe others, otherwise there will be little to discuss with the invited investors. | festario
17/6/2019 15:57 | Nice and quiet today despite the attempts of some to pull the share price down, also with the unintended help of some traders. Dangerous game, I far prefer to buy and hold, no sweat, no sitting on the edge of the seat, no costs and in the end reap the rewards. | rogerbridge
17/6/2019 15:47 | a lunch is a lunch however much you are enthused by it, nothing will be said that is market sensitive and it's not a rns | adejuk
17/6/2019 15:36 | Sounds like you were who I was writing about pet sheep | 1teepee
17/6/2019 15:30 | investor's lunch? | joeblogg2
17/6/2019 15:24 | I am just wondering what Neil will have on the agenda of tomorrow's investors lunch meeting. Shame I cannot make it as it's likely to be BIGT! | bobsworth |
