That's the only time I've ever seen a Youtube advert that's sigificantly better than the video you were watching before it was rudely interrupted. I don't know how Grabster got a minute into a Snoop Dogg video to find it though...

It’s the two day clearance of funds that would of caught some people out who didn’t bed and isa.

That will go one of two ways.

1 they buy the shares back in trading account and then bed and isa.

2 they start buying tomorrow and Wednesday when funds clear.

Time to box clever

Are you saying we should buy now while you guys wait for the funds to go across to buy.

Just joking :-)

Did the sale, then got told the funds wouldnt be available to transfer to isa until Wednesday! Then rung them and they managed to get it sorted, cost slightly more but shares moved over now. Id suggest giving them a ring to discuss might be the best option?

I sold late on Friday, and asked the same question to Jarvis / x-o today, and the reply
was:

"...funds will be subscribed to the ISA once your trade settles tomorrow"

Isn't 2 working days routine, either for transfer or extraction to a bank account?

Or does it vary?

re bed and isa.

The way I see it if you have plenty in a normal account then if you want to do the switch at the maximum amount of shares then it's best to get it done when the price is lower.

If folk have a view that a price rise is on the cards then they will sort the ISA flip ASAP.

If someone is a long term holder elsewhere and the share price is drifting, then best to wait and increase the number of shares that can be flipped.

As in general most shares are dormant or going the wrong way, then the early bed and isa action tends to be on shares where relevant investors think the timing is right.

Maybe they just have a lot of people bed and isa-ing.

More than just VRS to deal with.

I was concerned about buying in also. I sold LGEN in my isa and bought last week. I now just have to get cash into my isa to repurchase the LGEN hopefully before they go ex div

Anyone got any thoughts on whether it would be better to wait for iii to automatically bed & isa for me, or should I cancel it and do it myself this morning? Will I struggle to buy the stock? Thanks in advance guys

Why no evidence of Bed and Isa happening on other AIM shares?

Very happy to have had the opportunity to bed and ISA at the current level just before the share price takes off, (I suspect- DYOR) looking down the road the savings on the tax bill are going to be excellent. Happy days

Funny that with some bed and isa flips both sell and buy going through looking likes sells.

All perfectly normal of course, nowt to do with the MMs wanting stock like you suggest. Just the way it is in reality the sell goes through at near the bid price and then is bought back with a little bit added on.
