Indeed, a multi bagger in 2017 and a double bagger in 2018 is 'mind blowing' to me. Very content with the stunning progress made and excited for the future ! Grateful and trusting neill and co here. #delivering aimo. Best ellis

"the damage that this is doing to the company by creating the unreal expectation of quick and easy profits"

I quite agree. NR's talk about 'mind-blowing' opportunities in China and the 'staggering' amounts of nanene that Aecom might need; and Kerr's champagne corks in his pre-Christmas tweet and MW's talk of a 'mind-blowing' 2019 *have* all created expectations of quick and easy profit. they really should all be a *lot* more careful about what they say...

Johnveals- I remember Neill saying words to that effect, I was just commenting on the fact he appeared to tweet the photo of a seat back; although it doesn’t show under the “tweets” or “ tweets & replies” only under “media” tab... again I’m not twitter savvy, so probably something and nothing..

Brooky - in aircraft there are certified and non-certified components that all contribute weight and fuel consumption.

Certified components are generally flight critical are rigorously tested and cannot be modified or substituted without time consuming and expensive recertification.

Non-certified components can be modified or substituted a lot more easily.

Saving 1kg of aircraft weight can save £100's in fuel over the lifetime of an aircraft.

The opportunities for strong light weight plastics in aircraft, such as seat backs and trays, are huge.

Lucky, I have been thinking exactly the same thing. Neill's recent communication with Tim exudes the confidence of a man who knows that he has market moving news up his sleeve. It's hard to put a finger on exactly why but you can sense it from the way he is engaging. Pure speculation of course but makes me feel comfortable nevertheless.

I must admit I don’t fully understand Twitter and I’m not sure if anyone as mentioned it in the last few days, but on Neill’s twitter page if you click on the “media” tab and scroll down to 3 days ago it looks like he’s tweeted a picture of a seat back on a plane?

Can sell 30k lots, at 123.86p. That's an ever so slightly increasing amount, despite subsequent sells going through. This suggests that there is a buyer in the background, which is likely to be reported later.

With NR's engagement with the shorter/s it must make them edgy but it also bolsters the reason why I am invested i.e. it was 10 weeks before he could say anything about the AECOM deal.

With his interactions he seems very confident that it is a mistake to be bearish on VRS and that must be related to what he knows and can't yet tell us, therefore it is just a matter of time until we get to know what happened a couple of months ago to give him the confidence to make that kind of tweet as he is fully aware that shareholders are aware in a trice.

With the aerospace structural tweet , to me that says nothing in the short term there but plenty of other areas to focus on ... in the shorter term.

Must be a hell of a lot to tell regarding developments in China and that is simmering away in the background.

I am looking forward to being made aware of the different method for producing graphene that doesn't involve the current machines.

ISO must be published soon.

Watching this space!

"Structures for Electronic and Electric Hybrid Aircraft"

3 April 2019

Queen Mary University Conference.

"There is a growing view in the aeronautical community that electric and electric hybrid aircraft are moving towards application in both the civil and military sectors. This one-day conference will address some of the issues confronting structural engineers in designing this new generation of aircraft. It will cover issues relating to the potential need for exotic structural forms and novel materials that support the need to have solar power, extensive battery layouts or battery/conventional propulsion systems. A key topic to be addressed is the anticipated research and analysis requirements needed to support the entry into service of this type of novel aircraft."
