fuji: re your: SG1 mentioned there could be some news in an hour or so. Where is he ?

This is what sg said:

Yes Fest it smells of some biggish late reports to come perhaps in an hour. PIs, I suspect the usual suspects.

It simply relates to 'late' reported trades (they are often 1 hour delayed, but can be much more depending on how much over the NMS (normal market size - 10k)

Best wishes - Spike

Let the profit takers and nervous Nellies move aside, then open the door for the afternoon buyer again. He was buying shedloads at 185p yesterday, so presumably he'll be happy to buy more at that level, or above.

CS,

Lighter, more flexible fake boobies? Conductive fake boobies? :-)

There's a bit more to Dow than that...

Silicone fluids, rubber and specialty polymers made in Barry are used in a wide variety of applications, from cosmetics to car airbag coatings and construction sealants.

Tini re your how much space req' for machine:

You need to ask sg, but essentially we are talking the size of a very large office desk, plus other bits.

In other words space is not a big problem for actual manufacture. Storage space is a little bit more of an issue, but since it ideally needs to be used when 'fresh', there shouldn't often be much of a build up.

Best wishes - Spike

20pc - something like that is my guess too. And would put a rocket up Chinese asses if they feel they're being left behind. Also, such an agreement would greatly increase VRS's MC, which would cause the Chinese to re-value the company for that context.

All just speculation, of course...

Unfortunately hoverfly, spreads tend to diminish when there high volume/liquidity. So often when share price is on the move. Spread widens when MM's are worried about getting either lumbered with excess stock or caught selling with no stock.

Any decent platform or broker should do a bed and ISA for a fixed fee, making the spread irrelevant.

Wider spreads are a defensive move by MMs to reduce risk. This normally happens when liquidity reduces, volatility increases or both! 180-190 is the same percentage spread as 18-19.

The price on the screen is only an indication- the trades printing are the current right price

Anyone any idea how much space 3 tonnes of graphene machinery takes up? Believe NR tweeted that an update on the machinery would be given at the AGM.

Perhaps it doesn't fit in the current VRS premises? But that would mean having premises lined up ahead of ordering?

That's the problem with not knowing the full story and maybe this is Neill (note spelling of name crunk), getting his ducks in a row.

For my purpose of Bed and ISA when is the spread likely to be least.. when there’s no news and the share price drifts?

schmally -

yesterday when asked if attending a Zero Emmissions event in Birmingham, NR tweeted
"No unfortunately I have a @gfirst board meeting"

GFirst LEP is a Local enterprise partnership – one of 38 in England – and is responsible for Gloucestershire's Strategic Economic Plan. A partnership of business and local government.
Maybe he was expressing gratitude for help recieved, and pledging continued involvement - but - sorry guys we've had an offer we can't refuse, to expand in Wales and create jobs there rather than here.
