NR tweets aren't a waste of time at all but are also not the official news channel either. Anything potentially price sensitive has to be on RNS.

Spike - as reasonable an interpretation as any other? If we've learned one thing about NR it's that anything he says is often capable of multiple interpretations ;-)

It is, by all accounts, gonna be a sunny weekend. Why not simply wish that everyone can enjoy it, including himself. NR, hope you have a relaxed day or two. Enjoy the kids, they will be grown and gone so quickly.

Andy: re your 'Must be some connection surely' There is absolutely NO reason why there should be a link to VRS! Have you any idea how many different projects / products BAE are involved in.

Best wishes - Spike

Clubby 'all hell let's lose Monday' = wild speculation, not a reasonable assumption from Neill's quote IMO.

Cheers - Spike

Worth remembering though, that for a time Neill did give coded messages: at least twice on a Friday evening he said he expected it to me sunny next week .... and sure enough come Monday there was a positive RNS.

Will he do that again (or equivalent?) I don't know, he may have been put on the naughty step by the NOMAD - who knows? sg?

Best wishes - spike

Finally people are starting to agree with me that dwelling on Twitter musings is a complete waste of time.

Spike - it's like the US Federal Reserve whose statements are micro analysed down to the punctuation for innuendo and meaning! Needless to say it's all wasted time!

Maybe NR wants a day off in then sun?!

Hang on guys! Just because Neill tweets 'Wishing everyone a great friday, enjoy the sun, smile at people, reflect on what you have, not what you haven't got'

Some people have now got the idea that a collaboration has been terminated. Are we all insane????

There is zero logic to that!!!!
reflect on what you have, not what you haven't got' has got to be viewed in the context of the first part:
Wishing everyone a great friday, enjoy the sun, smile at people

Best wishes - spike
