Have you noticed that Dr Chris Crockford is the same Crockford who in a previous life was Business Development Director of a F1 team - yes, McLaren. Funny thing, that. What goes around, comes around, just like a Nanene-enhanced McLaren F1 car

That application has both the singular and the plural.

So from that do we presume they have got both Graphink and Graphinks? Both seem to have been registered on the same day.

My thoughts entirely grabster and the 'Nan' addition would link the company to it because of our Nanene and as such give it more credability than other 'graphene' inks...

Grabster

There are only 2 or 3 that are near term. Boron which is an electrical insulator and Molybdenum Disulphide.

- but graphene is merely one of the nano-ingredients the company is likely to eventually be using in its inks. A name that accommodates various nano materials would make much more sense.

It is nice and simple basically saying graphene inks. I'm surprised it is still available.

Still think it should be Nanink. If Nanene is going to be the go to for real Graphene, Nanink should be the ink version... never mind, you're doing a good job otherwise Neill, so I won't sell my holding just because of one minor slip up.. ;)

I thought I saw somewhere that Cambridge had already chosen the name HIGRAPHINK? I do think the simpler “Graphink̶1; sounds better, though

If it has name then a launch will follow at some point.

Some points about RNS company
from LSE.....

- they are only at the planning stage of the trial and so we are probably at least 6, if not 12 months, away from it completing, and only after that will they get into looking at a commercial product (assuming the trial is successful)

- the enabling Partner (Digital & Future Technologies Ltd) are only a very small company, probably a one man band, with a turnover of less than £250k (I've looked at them on Companies House before stating this)

Interesting posts SG. Nice and warm here in Gran Canadian. I throw a name into the hat , though I like your choice.
I will keep it simple Graphink.

SG - Who says slavery has been abolished? I wonder what the Romans would have made of whole armies of company workers on 'zero hours contracts' :-)

Seriously, on the inks front, I am pleased that Neill has the trademarks issue in hand. If we can get Nanene and 'Graphink' (?) in place as our two principle offerings - with people and resources in place - plus websites up to speed - we will undoubtedly be in a better place in my view.
