?...I've seen this all before here....we are back to where we were in early January... so the "progress" in the last 3 months is gone: lost...

Is that the dire lack of long term progress in the last 3 months you are referring to?

Looks like the americans have started to see through the dire lack of long term progress here and are already fed-up with the jam tomorrow story......

Thanks Trevor

The news release is a bit lacking in detail and no comment from the investigators, but it sounds like there was no sign of efficacy worth commenting about, so I assume they will not be progressing this any further. It was always a bit of a long shot anyway.

On reflection, the current weakness is more likely to be due to holdings in UK ISAs having to be removed, with some people deciding to sell rather than hold in an ordinary account. Hopefully the effect shouldn't last too much longer.

Guessing the read-out from the pilot trial in Covid patients isn't looking too clever. Headline data is due this quarter. Personally I think Covid is just a distraction for VRNA.

Amazing to see that a few directors and chairman and others have recently sold shares according to bulletin boards on Nasdaq. Does not say much. Not as if they have no income. Maybe they know it is due a drop or are trying to get some sellers, who knows. I have never known the chairman to sell ever.

Any idea why H & L are not giving a current price here.

Boystown Imco yes longstanding investors have seemingly been royally shafted big style. Of course we were due a new appointment just to fool investors into thinking something tantalizing might occur in the next decade just before the patents run out. The £30K salary should get us a couple of days input. Never have I seen such a woefully run R and D pharma company.

Yes I know. Once they get Ensifentrine through the phase 3 trials, approved by the FDA and launched commercially, we'll still do very well. The stock will be valued at a much higher figure than it ever would have been on the London market. I've only stuck with the investment because the phase 2 clinical trial results look good enough for a commercial product. I don't think the price will do much this year, but next year should see serious growth if everything goes according to plan. Like anyone else who converted from VRP, I'm still up 50%.

Maybe - but I can't help but get the feeling that us long-termers have been gradually "had" over the years

I see her other job is VP at Novartis Gene Therapies where she is in charge of worldwide commercialization. You never know there might be some method in their madness!

So we have a new non-executive director who is to receive £30,000 a year retainer plus £3000. I'd like to see that much next year out of this share holding?
