Definitely. A takeout target is one of the first things I thought of when I'd looked at the co, and Thermo deal. In the meantime, revenue to grow.

The spin-off of Vantive should complete before end of July and give it a bit of time and consolidation will the name of the game. Verici have every chance of being in the cross-hairs of them, or others.

I only got around half of what I tried for with Ajbell. I didn't apply for much, just a few grand top up on what I already had, but got just shy of 2k

I received just under 50% of my request in the public offer, funny how us 3 participants in this offer have all experienced varied results ?
AJ Bell did not charge for taking my shares in the offering.

Thanks to timbo I persisted with AJ Bell and they have said that I can claim EIS as long as I invest via a dealing account - so that makes the price 6.3p.

I have followed Verici since the IPO and have resisted buying up to now, but bought a few in the placing, they are EIS qualifying, so effective purchase price is 6.3p/share for UK tax payers 🙂

Todays fundraising news, at a relatively small discount, is quite remarkable given the difficult funding backdrop!

It doesn't exactly read like the cash/cashflow situation was particularly strained.

Whilst highlighting additional and accelerated growth opportunities, one can't help but think it's also a defensive/strategic manoeuvre, given Verici's impact on some of the cash rich incumbent players (thus requiring a much higher takeout price).

Good move by Management to raise £5.5 million in funds to accelerate product development and partnering strategy and impressed with just an 11% price discount. Also pleased that retail investors can participate which I intend to do.

Post raising and approval cash runway will be well into 2026 so takes that question of the cash situation away.

Proving to be one of my best investments ever. If AGL can rise 130% in a day then as VRCI’s Tutivia & Clarava commercialise (with the significant firepower of Thermo Fisher) then I am sure we will also prove to rise by such levels. Just buy in a SIPP or ISA and be patient (so hard for inexperienced investor) for multi-bag rewards to materialise.

I have said this before, and even though Verici has conmpleted a deal with Thermo, I am still of the opinion that Verici must surely still be in the sights of potential partners given the changing backdrop to transplant testing in the US, and indeed the patent situation -
