The company is in a good position. Once the fundraise is done I think the share price will move back up.

Hopefully it's coming soon. They probably don't like the price maybe 0.5p but will have to take it to survive. Not sure about the ceo here she seems clueless when it comes to handling the market and money.

A case of wait and see but one think is the raise won't be at 2-3p as suggested. Somewhere between 0.5p and 1p highly likely and depending how much they raise.

I'd like to see 5m raised but that might be a tough ask given the mkt cap

Yes Trump is seeking an overhaul of bogus claims on Medicare. This should actually be beneficial to legitimate companies like Vrci and Renx who can actually help save costs to Healthcare by plotting more cost effective outcomes to its patients.

The reality is that Barrington has made a terrible mess of things for the last 2 years. She simply doesn't understand that AIM will always hammer down the share price of pre-profitability companies because the City spivs know they can always short into the next placing. She simply didn't raise enough (with a big safety margin) to reach profitability before the spivs moved in again. There is zero hope value on AIM (apart from short-term ramping), unlike the often huge hope value on the US markets. She made a particularly spectacular mistake a couple of months ago when pre-announcing another equity placing just a couple of days *before* the critical positive news on Medicare payment approval. FFS! (Smacks own head). The US patent holders and 8% investors must be holding their heads in their hands...

Having said that, there is clearly still value in the company if their sales are growing rapidly as stated. The product fills an important unmet need and saves providers money. The question is simply what price will the placing be at? Or is there any prospect of a premium placing at say 2-3p with a US investor, now that profitability is appearing on the horizon? Or an outright takeover at say 5p by Thermo Fisher? Yes, takeovers at 3-4x market cap are rare but they do happen...

Downside risks include the possibility of delisting due to the hopeless AIM market, and possibly whether Medicare can continue to pay for Tutivia when its funding is due to be decimated (with terrible impacts on millions of Americans) by the orange loon.

Discuss :-)

Given that we have been told numerous times about the forthcoming fund raise, I suspect it is already priced in. The delay in announcing the price and quantum is a bit irritating, but perhaps they are trying to time it so it is released with some anticipated good news? or perhaps they are waiting for HMRC advance assurance for EIS/VCT tax reliefs?

My level of participation will depend very much on whether this round qualifies for EIS tax reliefs and whether Sara actually gets her wallet out this time around. She currently owns zero shares and her having a few free options just isn't good enough for me.

More of a fact than a prediction.Barrington stated about 3 times before todays RNS including in an interview with Paul Hill on Vox markets back in April, along with the game changing Medicare approval. Should soon get an idea on how much Tutivia is growing and contributing to cash flow, building on 3.2 million dollar current inline revenue. They have a back log of invoices. This raise is to ‘accelerate growth’ which was 68% quarter on quarter.sounds like they have plenty of support

Couldn’t agree more. The market just doesn’t get it. Although to be fair Sara has right royally bolllokked it up! To be fair she was a bit wrong footed by the Medicare delay, but really between them they should have seen this coming. Ok so the math. Addressable meerkat is about 100 million. About 30,000 transplants in US and another 100,000 on the waiting list, this is before you look at the globals which admittedly is some way off, but potentially a lot of revenue for a trifling 10 million raise. Ints should be clambering over themselves to get in.

I bought another 100k at 16.09.09 today (showing as a sell) to add to a further 100k I bought last Friday (with the other 300k buys). There are few now on the bid and this could return to 2p+ before the fundraise, which could be taken up by an institution. With the Medicare contract things look positive even though currently at ground level.
Even 6p in the future would only be less then a £20m valuation.

Painful fund raise coming now I suspect as low as 0.5p and an awful lot of cheap shares issued to raise a few million . Those speculating the ap will recover quickly thereafter are very misguided as there will be a huge amount of shares in issue and getting sold into .

This will languish around the issue price until more news on sales arrives and it will have to be a huge improvement to get the share price back to 2p never mind 5-6p which seems unlikely .

We already knew there would be a fund raise. So why didn’t they get the authority and then announce what it is. Seems a bit rse about face.

Indeed it was. What Barrington is saying is that the growth of 68 percent which clocked up in the last quarter of last year has continued or even accelerated in the first quarter of this year before the approval was announced. Now they can put the foot flat to the floor knowing at least 60 percent of the tests will be secured payments backed by Medicare. Now they can invoice for all the tests last year and this, having held back to see who was going to pay for the tests having had to wait a further six months for the approval and pricing of the tests sanctioned by a third party. Clearly Medicare and the independent assessor required more data from the increasing number of tests being carried out in this time. I think I heard JB at the EKF meeting say it was going to be a close call. Now it’s has been validated more clinicians will feel it is pretty much standard practice to ask for these tests to be done. There is nothing else that can detect early stage rejection, and stop the wrong drugs being administered. Helping better outcomes for patients, saving lives and saving time and money for the health service. It’s a no brainer as long as politicians don’t screw up

Quite agree Dean. 68% growth quarter on quarter and thats before Medicare approval. Tutivia is available in 19 centres now. One is using tests as standard protocol, 4 or 5 others have pretty much fully adopted it as standard practice. Why wouldn't you if secures best patient outcome and saves lives and money. They have reached that inflexion point where as Sarah says, ‘growth is there for the taking, but it will need some more investment. I guess they need to see how much and how quickly they can invoice for work already done, for which they have not yet been paid while waiting on the Medicare approval. Cant really announce a placing till they are more certain about how much and at what price. I cant imagine it will be any problem in the position they are now in. Would have thought institutions will be queuing up, so absolutely no need to give shares away too cheaply imo. I suspect right now is a very decent buying opportunity.I think the share price is still flagging probably because it will take a couple of months to collect what they are owed as much as anything.
