Treacle - FWIW, I think RTS looks a reasonable punt if they continue with the improvements of the second half. You only stayed in a couple of days though and sold out for a £300 loss this morning, as you couldn't suck in enough punters for a quick pump'n'dump.

However, VSH is a different story and would appear to totally depend on the fundraising negotiations that were mentioned in December.

Buying these now just seems to be a gamble on the agreed placing price and terms and conditions of the convertible. If they place higher than the current price, you'll probably do OK in the short term but if they place at a discount then it doesn't look so good.

It seems strange that the company haven't provided any further details of the funding negotiations four months after the original announcement....

Some positive posts on LSE today:-

'1.75 to 2p is not out of the question here. strange that sometinme a flurry of buys here is followed by news, I tend to keep my eye on buying and spread activity with these and have always managed to topslice over 100%. lets see what the next few days bring'.

'...is a great little punt. even for a few hundred punds great chance of a nice return. Will hold until at least 1.5p. Good luck all'.

Treacle - Don't you post level 2 when it gets worse? That's a bit dishonest, isn't it?

SCAP dropped onto the offer a few minutes ago and level 2 is now 1v2 with only WINS left on the bid. Next bid 0.4p.

Venue Solutions Holdings Plc

Interim Results for the six months ended 31 May 2008

RESULTS SUMMARY

* Revenue £0.54m (H1 2007: £2.33m)

* Pre-tax loss: £1.15m (H1 2007: loss £0.67m)

So they lost £1.15mln on 540k turnover and had £4k cash left with £400k of borrowings!!

Not the most successful business ever is it?
No wonder they need more cash. This would appear to be a total gamble on what price the new shares are placed at, IMHO...

P.S. Yes, it's a shame you sold out of ROE after your usual couple of days trying to pump'n'dump it and FWIW, the current valuation looks totally insane, so I'm starting to wonder if it's being manipulated by boiler room promoters....
