acso TE2 aquisition. Never had a problem with it apad. Seemed a good fit given TE2 appeared to have very complementary software and some client overlap. Taking on key staff - all sounded very harmonious. Moreover recently Cedar (previously a client of both outfits) have extended their contract so they must be content with the combined outfit. And in the Jan update ... TE2 performing well ahead of its business plan, generating greater than expected levels of non-recurring services revenue and operating with lower costs than anticipated

where do you see the problem?

"For European banks, it’s a headache that just won’t go away: the 944 billion euros ($1.17 trillion) of non-performing loans that’s weighing down their balance sheets.

Economists say the pile of past-due and delinquent debt makes it harder for banks to lend more money, hurting their earnings. European authorities are prodding lenders to sell or wind down non-performing credit, but they’re split on how to tackle the issue, and some investors are disappointed by the pace of progress."

Impolite to comment but:
Karen Tso on CNBC is wearing a short skirt and shoes with eye wateringly high heels. I do feel for her welfare and safely, on those heels, but really. Not the best look.
Belies her ability to present business news.

I no longer buy Cadbury's chocolate.
The yoodles made a lot of promises, when they were allowed to take them over, none of which they appear to have kept.

KEYS released a good statement this morning. I took a decent position a while back based on admission document detail which looked promising. Early days but it has promise.

The UKs achievements are numerous thats for sure.
A mixed history made up of some of the greatest and some of the worst of humanity.

Mainy peeved that the americans own cadburys. I swear it changed a bit for the worse. Slightly more sugary :(

ZOO held up well in the recent turmoil. Turns out a private fund from the States has been building a position. They will be looking at multiple returns on their investment from current share price. My average is 11p and it's now 64p and I hold nearly 70% of my shares still. However, clearly in others opinions there is scope for big returns from this point. I'd concur with that and intend to hold my remaining stake for the next couple of years at least. I picked up BRK.B shares in the recent dip. A couple of small other top ups but still on the cautious side overall.

I listened to "A life scientific" on R4 0900 this morning. It was about the winner of the 2017 Nobel prize for chemistry who helped develop something called Cryogenic Electron Microscopy recently in the UK. This marvellous tool enables much deeper understanding of complex molecular structures, essential for developing drugs to inhibit or enhance biological processes. Google it and see the images.
Will this magic be given to the world to enable foreign companies to produce the next generation of medicines to wipe the floor with the likes of GSK.
I took my wife for an MRI scan on her back last week. Disappointed to see that the scanner was made by Siemens using technology discovered at Nottingham University. We seem to be hell bent on trying to ensure that no one, company or individual, has funds to invest in commercialising discoveries made here while the politics of envy do their worst.
Jet engines, invented here. TV invented here. Radar invented here. Telephone invented here. Electricity generation invented here. Computers invented here. Plate glass invented here. Tyres invented here. Waterproof clothing invented here. First light bulb invented here. Pyrex glass, invented here.
I think you get the idea, so much UK invention and even superior chocolate bought out or given to other countries.

Confirmed 6m of director sales yesterday, "in order to satisfy institutional buying demand."

Maybe, just maybe, you are correct.
My investment is now option money, so if it does make good then so much the better.
Never use a four letter word, beginning with N in the presence of APAD.
As for g, it has been erased from the alphabet:-)
