04/4/2017 08:21 | BRSN, lovely, added yesterday. Was not expecting that rise at this point. | essentialinvestor
04/4/2017 08:17 | MOZ, added 20 ASCI. Some of my SHRS sales proceeds. | essentialinvestor
04/4/2017 08:14 | Increased RWS at £3.15. You tempted yet, red? apad | apad
04/4/2017 08:04 | M&A appears to be underway, with bids appearing across borders. Is it the relative strength/weakness of currencies and an attempt to buy turnover? red | redartbmud
04/4/2017 08:00 | Latest wonder material news is that graphene can turn sea water into potable water. What you do is roll it up to make a magic wand..... SNC (bidding for Atkins) are the company that bought out KENTZ - those were the days, their timing was awful:-) Still it didn't matter because of their golden income stream from toll roads. Dull day, I reckon. apad | apad
04/4/2017 07:35 | On the watch list. I could have bought comfortably below £17, but was hell bent on getting in at £16. I might have misjudged the situation. Liberum has been convinced that advertising agency WPP (WPP) remains in a solid position despite the 9% fall in the share price since its full-year results earlier this month. Analyst Ian Whittaker reiterated his ‘buy’ recommendation and target price of £20 on the stock following a meeting with WPP finance director Paul Richardson and the head of North American investor relations Fran Butera. ‘The message that came across was that, while 2017 was impacted by account losses, WPP is confident that its structural position remains solid and that concerns over the threat from consultancies and disintermediation are not as great as the market thinks,’ he said. ‘There was also an emphasis on not chasing revenues at the risk of impacting margins or payment terms, which we see as the right approach.’ WPP shares shed 5.7p yesterday to close 0.9% down at £17.36. red | redartbmud
04/4/2017 07:30 | Hmmm... Nobody spotted the Atkins bid, neither in the stars, tea leaves or charts. Nanoco results are worse that awful. It would appear that they do not have a commercial product. red | redartbmud
04/4/2017 07:21 | Hell's teeth! I suppose .gov will let Atkins go whilst wittering on about Gib. Training Atkins engineers today. Sophos delivers again - wish I held. Tracsis buy another odd looking company - Smart Cities & Transport! I'm not at all sure their management know about software since the founder was outed. KOOV massive increase in turnover but no mention of profit. Let's hope that their aren't losing on each one delivered! ASOS delivering! Maybe a boost to BOO (FY 26th) QuicklyBackward rns I don't understand. apad | apad
03/4/2017 23:06 | Cos they can, I suppose. red | redartbmud
03/4/2017 22:35 | What I can not understand is, why CLLN has been shorted so much. Ok, it has worked for them. | 11_percent
03/4/2017 22:29 | 11_% You could be on the mark there. Fingers crossed. red | redartbmud
03/4/2017 22:02 | I expect CLLN to rise as we approach the dividend. The shorters might take it down after that. | 11_percent
03/4/2017 20:40 | I see Atkins has received a takeover offer... Any holders of BLVN will know that the activist investor (COC) won out and removed the majority of the incumbent board, who have been replaced. The cashburn should be slashed and value extracted from current acreage. Expect further share price rises over the coming weeks/months :) Hopefully the tide has started to turn at CLLN, it has been a frustrating share these last few months. | haywards26
03/4/2017 16:56 | I tried to play with the Mm's today with a cheeky limit order on Bree, but the cheeky blighters put two fingers up. I admit I was mean, but they have a lot on their books. Holiday mode kicking in. Hey ho red | redartbmud
03/4/2017 16:16 | Just noticed the IMG news. Good lesson there - overly dependent on one customer and share price going nowhere for a few years. apad | apad
03/4/2017 14:34 | 'C' has stepped up a bit from 208p. red | redartbmud
03/4/2017 14:32 | APAD Yes, I intend to make the most of it. Set fair for a few days. When you get back home, you should get your boat out to unwind. red | redartbmud
03/4/2017 13:08 | Good to see a kick up in the KOOV share price, for those taking the risk. Don't hold. BOO is perky. apad | apad

03/4/2017 12:58 | ps As a result school records are extraordinarily valuable! | apad
03/4/2017 11:34 | Longtime lurker on this thread. Much appreciative of the content and the tone of you regulars. It is encouraging to realise that my own frequent bafflement at how shares behave is sometimes shared by such experienced players. Current portfolio includes BOO, CAKE, EIG, EMH, FXPO, G4M, KWS, PTSG, PVG, REDS, VCP - no surprises there. Off topic: I was born in Guernsey and evacuated as an infant during the war but have a British passport. How does that work if it is not part of the UK? | p7c93
03/4/2017 11:01 | Positive or negative "things" redartbmud? Have to prepare ;-) | lauders
03/4/2017 10:55 | Get ready for some action this week. Off to Fawlty Towers tomorrow. Things always happen, in the markets, when I am away. red | redartbmud |
