I filled my boots with these the last few days. I'm hoping for a nice recovery in the share price and get some of the money I lost here a year or so ago.

Good news from Alliance Pharma's results this morning since VLG are a manufacturing partner for Kelo-cote:

"Kelo-cote - scar prevention and treatment

Kelo-cote delivered another excellent performance, particularly in the APAC region, generating revenues of GBP48.8m, up 41% on the prior year (2020: GBP34.7m). CER revenues were up 47% due to continued strong demand from China, reflecting the growth of both domestic sales and significant cross-border e-commerce ("CBEC") sales.

Kelo-cote is very well established in China, with high brand awareness and usage. The growth in domestic and CBEC revenues reflects the increasing trend for consumers in China and elsewhere to migrate more to online purchasing, both of the brand itself, and healthcare products generally - a trend accelerated by the global pandemic."

Regarding the mouthwash COVID claim - does it not strike anyone as odd that it's taken from Nov'20 to Feb'22 to get this updated from an in-vitro / test-tube study to a 78 person stage 1 clinical trial. If there was some real commercial application or market for this it would have taken flight months ago. The study data has still not been peer-reviewed. It just appears like more infomercial news/noise. What's the materiality of this news really?
I would rather they provide some update on progress with the new acquisitions or on the Samarkand - Chinese market deal. I guess all will be revealed 24th March. We really need to have a comprehensive update at the finals to dispel the doubters and rebuild confidence amongst shareholders and the wider investment community.

I think personally that’s big news, will be interesting to see if the market notices it, that’s a great piece of marketing potential

Nice that they finally got their research paper out showing that their mouth rinse has an inhibitory effect on covid. I wonder if the bottles of mouth rinse will now claim this fact? Could be useful and valuable going forward!

Simon Thompson tipped VLG on 31st January as follows (not posted here before):

"Penny drops with Venture Life

Share price rises 36 per cent following pre-close trading update

Order book significantly ahead of the same time last year

The recovery at Aim-traded Venture Life (VLG:51p), a developer, manufacturer and distributor of products for the self-care markets, is gathering traction.

A pre-close trading update for the year just ended was in line with my financial analysis three weeks ago when I made the case to buy the shares, at 40p (‘Venture Life’s recovery potential revealed, 10 January 2021). Of more importance is
news that the order book is “significantly ahead of the same time last year”,
shipments with new China distribution partner have started, and two UK health
and beauty retailers will be launching Venture’s lesser known in-house brands
(for rosacea, women’s intimate gel, and wart & varruca pen) under their own labels.
The group is also progressing an aggressive expansion plan for prostrate cancer
management product Pomi-T.

Priced on a forward PE ratio of 11 for 2022, I maintain my 100p target. Buy."

One quiet board today, so from trading update they are currently hitting around £1m per week sales, running profitably and have more product launches due to hit, final results 24th March, this may have pull backs like this morning but the graph says it turned, the trading statement says it’s turned, I would expect this to climb until the 24th March when if followed by similar good news another pop, I’m no long term holder in anything unless I think it has further to run and this has imho dyor gla

Great thanks for the v. informative posts. SteMis I would agree, also any +Ve sales flow news from China or further deals should add to the mix IMO....continued delivery should help them drive a higher rating once more IMO.

Lots to play for, glad I topped up and if management can put last year's fiasco behind them, no reason we shouldn't see North of a quid in H1 if market looks 12 months ahead IMO....DYOR

Cheers
