As well as the RNS headline, VLG missed another trick in not highlighting the Dentyl brand in the body of the RNS - Dentyl is only mentioned in the company footnotes to the RNS.

Nevertheless, today's news should garner lots of national - and possibly global - press, and rightly so.

Today’s published result of a laboratory experiment is strong for VLG.

The outcome of the live person trial Is not due until next year.....but there are plenty of patients now to experiment on, so the results should be statistically valid.

The RNS headline is somewhat bland - VLG could have made a lot more of this with a "Mouthwash eradicates COVID-19 in clinical trial" or similar headline"!

Kudos to VLG I suppose for downplaying it, though the excitable investor in me wants the wider market to see what's happening here....

Well - VERY positive findings from the mouthwash v COVID-19 trial!

"In their published in-vitro[2] study, scientists at Cardiff University concluded that Venture Life's two CPC based mouthwashes eradicated the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) virus completely (>5log reduction, equivalent to 99.999%) within a 30 second exposure."

"Cardiff University went on to state that the 'exact formulation is also important'. Whilst the CPC technology in Venture Life's mouthwash proved highly effective in the in-vitro study, they also tested a third mouthwash, which also contained both CPC and another ingredient, yet this proved ineffective. Their conclusion was that active ingredients in mouthwashes were not, on their own, enough to rely on, but rather it was the construct of the mouthwash formulations that was the critical determinant of a successful outcome. The Board considers the composition of Venture Life's CPC-based mouthwashes to be unique."

And I'll apologise by not qualifying that there is not a direct link between VLG and the broader market being affected by election and vaccine euphoria dissipating, but if sentiment does sour, it could leave recent laggards exposed to more downside.

sorry, probs too aggressive, my bad, but you linked VLG to GE USA and market, my point (badly put) is that on what is public knowledge about its prospects, delivery to date and market it operates in, has not done anything other than improve during 2020, and is now sitting on an unremarkable p/e or EV/EBITDA multiple

will probably have a profit warning now I've said all that haha

I think FB you are talking BS but there you go.

Obviously any company can always surprise on the upside and downside, but its 2020 RNSs have been bullish IMO and broker targets et al seem to show material upside potential so DYOR and let's see what unfolds

For example, look at todays price action. Daily hammer forming? Perhaps it'll have a good ol' chew of it's tail? A broader market drop might see VLG come off further.
