06/5/2018 10:24 | Er let VLS just close the GAP first at 30p/40p | cpap man
05/5/2018 23:29 | 150p to 200p again soon. | englishlongbow
05/5/2018 20:40 | Let's hope we break 20p next week | kirk 6
05/5/2018 10:26 | Kirk yes: last two buys worth 76 and 106k respectively. Whatever the arguments over the macro, the short term picture looks like a technical recovery at the very least, anywhere between 25 and 40p, while market makes up its mind about the rest. | brucie5

04/5/2018 20:20 | Meth flambee and the park bench for me until we hit £1 Cheers everyone | spurious
04/5/2018 20:17 | The more interesting question and I raised this in my initial post was if we are licencing the FT technology to Fulcrum as I do believe then we could well find a compulsive need to work even more closely. Same partners (Waste Management and TRI) Similar target markets Technology synergies Economies of scale benefit (particularly with large capital requirement to fund the rapidly increasing number of global projects I also feel it would be in our interest to have a dual listing on the Nasdaq as more and more of our business will be in the States and it would raise our profile and attract the necessary strategic global partners we need to build a truly world class business | spurious
04/5/2018 20:12 | I'm on the gin and tonic aswell celebrating a fantastic week | kirk 6
04/5/2018 19:50 | Hi Fluky EFT are an energy/emerging fuels technology system facilitator and consultancy hence their involvement with Fulcrum. They are involved with many diversified industrial energy groups/Co's and are merely stating the need to have a varied portfolio that addresses these individual and widely differing needs and confirm they licence any GTL and XTL tech they need from the best available source. Velocys is a specialist and not a consultancy. They are an entirely different animal to EFT and are not a direct competitor. Fulcrum on the other hand currently operates in similar markets to VLS but when it comes to FT systems tech they are clearly lacking by employing EFT as an energy/ fuels systems consultant and having to get them to licence the FT technology from the best available source (their words) Velocys have many patents protecting their world leading FT technology which is why if I was looking to licence the FT technology they would be the first name I would contact particularly as they have demonstrated the success of their FT systems at Envia a world's first commercial scale FT reactor site producing enough product to cover overheads which hopefully will be confirmed at results It's a no brainer Fluky Fulcrum don't have the required FT technology Fulcrum have partnered with EFT to facilitate the system EFT have a policy of licencing the FT technology they do not have EFT look for best available source and in their words have licenced the FT technology from a major FT innovator VLS are the clear world leaders in FT tech TRI are major partners to both Fulcrum and Velocys Who would you go to Fluky If VLS are the major innovator stated then this should be worth at least as much as RR initially and longer term Fulcrum are looking to roll out a further 8 sites | spurious
04/5/2018 19:10 | Congratulations spurious on some sterling work! Another Gin and Tonic yes I will. | gac141
04/5/2018 18:51 | List of Velocys patents:https://pate | on target
04/5/2018 18:37 | Spurious: Maybe this final argument will convince you. Compare Velocys IP portfolio versus EFT's statement which says "This portfolio includes patents on the production of fuels, solvents, drilling fluids, and base oils from FT syncrude." Velocys has only a few patents on these subjecs in their portfolio which focuses on microchannel reactors and catalysts. If this does not close the book on this, ask EFT. | fluky
04/5/2018 18:06 | fluky Forgive me for saying but you are becoming a little predictable and more than a little disappointing with a lack of follow through on what will be seen as empty rhetoric Also Of course it is important who the major FT innovator is because he will be paid handsomely for licencing his technology and if you are a velocys shareholder and as I suspect you are not, then much to your great disappointment, Velocys will reap the rewards if as I suspect they are the major FT innovator licencing their tech (via EFT) to Fulcrum I could be wrong but research and an interaction of partners such as TRI and Waste management in the equation lead me to suspect I am right Time will tell but I believe we may get an announcement in the coming weeks | spurious
04/5/2018 17:56 | From the 2017 interim results "-- H1 2017 cash outflow GBP4.9m (H1 2016: GBP13.6m, H2 2016: GBP5.4m). " So H1 cash burn was already £9m below H1 2016. | on target
04/5/2018 17:47 | I think 18m cash burn PA is abit much now so let's hope for some improvement in the results by which time we should be trading well into the 20s if not much higher. Why hasn't advfn updated the shares in issue? | kirk 6
04/5/2018 16:52 | kirk6: my number is based on the 2016 cash burn. I'll be glad to redo my calculation once we get the 2017 results. | fluky
04/5/2018 16:47 | Great day chaps!! Major milestone achieved in the history of Velocys.Roll on the 20s next week | kirk 6
04/5/2018 16:45 | Spurious: I am not a disgruntled employee nor do I have a specific grudge against Velocys. I just want the shareholders to have correct information which was the reason why I reacted on your post. Unfortunately, since EFT has not publicly announced their licensor, I cannot tell you. At the other hand, it is not important who it is because the agreement with the major FT innovator provides EFT the right to practice and sub-license of GTL and XTL technologies. | fluky
04/5/2018 16:09 | Hi Fluky Please put us all out of our misery and let us know who the mysterious FT major innovator that is licencing it's technology to Fulcrum via EFT. Please don't tell us all you can't because it's a secret Please understand we agree EFT is providing their catalyst processing system to Fulcrum Please understand EFT technology relies on licencing part of that technology from a major FT innovator as they have clearly stated Please be a little less grudging over the achievements of Velocys as you sound like a disgruntled ex employee with a very large grudge Please let us agree to differ and move on for all serious posters sake | spurious
04/5/2018 15:56 | Flu so what is the basis of your yearly expenditure ? | kirk 6
04/5/2018 15:46 | SH: All catalyst developers are let go and the key reactor developers are gone. That is the basis for my statement. | fluky |
