18/1/2018 16:43 | Collectors item - are you having a laugh?! | thebigshortfella
18/1/2018 16:32 | I take it everyone will be taking up all they are entitled too and as much extra as can be afforded. | collectors item
18/1/2018 11:39 | The phrase' drop in fuel' is beginning to sound a bit lost among all the up front capital costs, delays, salaries, share options and lack of joint venture agreement repayments? - petrol sounds cheap and easy in comparison! - Gee sorry I should say 'gas' | deutsch3
18/1/2018 09:50 | A quick back-of-the-envelop calculation based on the data given in the Capital Raising RNS shows that the proposed plant is only economical because of the RINs. Here are my calcs: Raw material: $1/gal (per RNS) CAPEX: $1/gal (lifetime plant 20 yrs) OPEX: $.9/gal (my estimate) Total: $2.9/gal Velocys will need to find a risk loving investor who believes in a stable US government. | fluky
17/1/2018 14:10 | It would help all round if someone can point to and say what product has been produced so far? - Also, who has bought it and how much have we received. - Also, where are we with repayment of project investments due on completion of the project? - Quit this bloody silence! | deutsch3
17/1/2018 13:13 | Unless you're some sort of c××t no one wishes anyone to be out of pocket on any investment. However, all to often if you are in contact with the heiracy, what they tell you is not always gospel & one should invest accordingly.chin up G | cocker
17/1/2018 13:12 | Good hearing from you gac. | tongosti
17/1/2018 11:36 | enewman I am normally a silent holder on shares, not a novice, and like bigger more stable companies but unfortunately or maybe fortunately only had £3000 of Velocys shares. Like you I have just received a corporate action notification on my account. What I intend to do is take up my allocation amount in full and apply for a further 50000 to 100,000 to similarly average down. That will be dependant on what funds are readily available at the time. I think I have to the 25th to decide. If that fails then I shall have to look to get them by other means. I would be surprised if it isn't massively oversubscribed as the pricing seems to be at too much of a discount to the closing share price prior to the announcement. It is I feel more than priced to go. Of the Placing shares there are not that many left to place and they should all be snapped up at 10p. Most I see are already accounted for with Ervington and Lansdowne respectively taking 40 Million and 30 Million each. I also haven't seen it mentioned so far but the Open offer shares also appears to be fully underwritten in any case for the full amount of £4.4 Million, equating to 44 Million shares and at a commission rate of 5.25%. Private Investors allotments and additional are then clawed back from these shares. So the company as I see it will get its money. " - In addition, each of Lansdowne and Henderson are conditionally subscribing, subject to clawback, for 22,000,000 Open Offer Shares at the Placing Price in respect of which they will receive a commission of 5.25 per cent. of the aggregate value at the Placing Price from the Company. - " I think like myself once you get over the initial shock 10p does seem very cheap. dyor, imo etc | collectors item
17/1/2018 11:29 | I am still in shock at the 10p placing and I am somewhat embarrassed by this dramatic turn of events. The silverware has been heavily tarnished and I feel we have not had a fair deal. It will take some time and a lot of good news to restore my previous confidences..... I will be glad to get this fund raise out of the way and look towards the management being more productive on a number of fronts. 1) The PR has been shocking and Camarco are ineffectual. This has to change. 2) Website needs to have more shareholder information about what we are up to. 3) Please stop the BRR Media staged interviews they are dire 4) Keep the market up to date even if it is on the website.(Months of silence has led us to where we are. 5) Make things happen quicker as everything is delayed or overruns. Management do have the ability to control this. 6) Get strategic alliances and partners involved asap. If it take months of due diligence then this should have been set up early last year. 7) Let us know what is going on at Red Rock. It was BB members - Not VLS that has spotted this very positive situation by Oregon Govt. If the PR was on song then a comment by VLS would have been a welcome piece of potential news. Roy Lipski would have been all over this. I could keep on but I won't. I expect to see big changes. Just a thought maybe I should run their PR for them? | gac141
17/1/2018 10:06 | Good question tongosti. I hope he is OK. Sometimes we can take this investment/trading lark too seriously. It's not that important in the grand scheme of things... Gac141 - Drop us all a message to let us know that you are ok fella. Take care. | thebigshortfella
17/1/2018 06:31 | Gac where art thou? | tongosti
16/1/2018 20:10 | I must say I think you lot are brave. From raising £50M at 225p to raising £18M at 10p - that's some drop, and a shed-load of dilution. It's going to be very heavy weather rising from here with that many shares in issue, lots of them having been bought around 10p. And if an institution decides it's had enough, it'll be the penny share pit for this lot. Will the £18M be enough to make them cash flow positive? Personally I doubt it - their record in this respect is telling - but any further attempt to raise funds is going to be really painful. Caveat emptor. This is the sort of business I liked: Pity it never managed to deliver on the promises. | supernumerary
16/1/2018 19:54 | Fern. It does seem rather strange that Gac has made no comment since yesterday's rns. Especially given that he is such a huge fan of the current management. | cocker
16/1/2018 18:57 | There was no point whatsoever to the RNS today. It tells you nothing. | fern5
16/1/2018 18:56 | Well, I too have taken a hit. Continuing to hold however. Will await next set of results (as with EJ) before deciding whether to add or get rid. Come on gac, we need you back. | fern5
16/1/2018 17:43 | Spot the massive non sequitur: "ENVIA Energy believes that fuel produced at its Oklahoma City gas-to-liquids plant has met the necessary requirements to be submitted for qualification under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) in the US." Surely anything can be _submitted_ but not everything will achieve qualification. I could submit something which came out of my left nostril but that doesn't mean I will get an RFS certificate for it. | arf dysg
16/1/2018 16:46 | Just had my open offer letter from ii through and I am taking up mine as well as additional shares to average down, why I don't know given the performance since purchasing but it seems the right thing to do tbh as it seems like it would take years to even reach break even by doing nothing imo. | enewman36 |
