Fern5 - not a bad idea!

gac141 - do you have any insight as to what's happening at VLS currently? Things seem very quiet but not necessarily ominously so. :-)

Maybe VLS should talk to the Italian Government?

Not a clue, but they will be managing a news package as they did so well before.

haydock - thanks for this. There could be multiple reasons for the share price drag, but this could well be a factor.

If the bond gets approved and (if we assume that VLS are awarded the Red Rock contract) do you have a view as to what would be a fair re-rating of VLS's share price? Thanks.

I see that Red Rock is now the only postponed bond on the Oregon bond calendar.

hxxps://www.oregon.gov/treasury/BuyOregonBonds/Pages/Calendar.aspx

I am fairly sure the problem is that there is still no underwriter for the issue. If you look in box 1, it says the underwriter is "To Be Determined". Hopefully that is a temporary blip, but given the size of the bond issue ($195m) and the fact that it is a conduit bond (i.e. the state is not liable to meet the repayments), they might be struggling to find someone to stump up the initial risk.

Hopefully it will be resolved soon, but that is very likely what is causing this share price drag?

Audited financial statements are due by end of next Friday, but I wonder if they are sitting on them until they know what is happening in Oregon? Would be nice to issue the results with some positive news about future revenue streams.

Nothing but silence? - You get the impression that this suits, or is being engineered to suit, someones interest. - Not a peep about the newly commissioned plant or its production volumes. - no wonder the share price is like a downhill slalom - This has to be being worked for a reason - or there is there a massive embarrassment -???

Like all R&D AIM companies the BOD are not informing PI's reasons for delays and whether there are serious design issues that still need to be resolved, too much is kept behind closed doors for obvious reasons.

At the moment they are still an R&D company with a prototype, how long that has to run to prove a success and ensure orders transpire is anybodies guess. Yet the money slowly buy surely drains away.....

I am a skeptical, realistic optimist who doesn't like alternative facts.
By the way, Red Rock is unfortunately at the moment the only project in the publically known pipeline.

You just missed two, also proposed for 04/04, that were sold:
- City of Central Point for $9M
- City of Portland for $190M

It was a number of applications that got postponed not just Red Rock.. So I dont see that as a major issue just a minor frustration. It may have been for any number of reasons.

It won't be for tomorrow...Red Rock's $195M bond issue is postponed: a serious downer for VLS.

Brucie5 - it's not often that someone says that I am wise - so thanks!

I made a promise to stick to Buffett's rules of investing, the main one being "don't make losses" and the second one being "don't make losses"...I was sorry to read that you made a small 10% loss today but better to make a small 10% loss than a 15 or 20% loss...I am not implying that VLS will go down further but you get my point...

I am very surprised (although I shouldn't be, as there's often no rhyme or reason to the markets) that VLS is at this level and I can just imagine the frustration of the VLS management team despite all their and the teams hard work to get ENVIA live...

Maybe fluky is onto something in relation to his concerns about cash reserves. It will be interesting to see the numbers.

That said...tomorrow VLS could announce a customer and Red Rock's financing could get confirmed... :-)

Life is so rich... :-)

If I can get back in at the 39 level I will be very happy. For now I will sit on the sidelines and see what happens over the next few weeks - realising that I may miss out on a good news spike. .

I think you've been wise here. And the 39 level may well be achieved.

Unfortunately, I got stopped out of my spread bet today at 53p. I believe that VLS will get ENVIA fully into production and win customers but there's no point having stops if you don't stick to them. Just to be clear I was hoping that the share price wouldn't trigger my stop loss but alas...

If I can get back in at the 39 level I will be very happy. For now I will sit on the sidelines and see what happens over the next few weeks - realising that I may miss out on a good news spike. I am slightly concerned about the impact of the French elections on the markets so not a bad time to be on the sidelines.

Best of luck to all VLS holders.

Whatever Pummell said, we'll get the real numbers, at least until year end, at the end of the month. The road to full capacity is obviously bumpy, which means more resources spent.
