gac...I wouldn't hang out the bunting just yet, research is one thing, profits are another, and believe me they haven't even got the plant working yet otherwise we would have heard, so we still continue to burn cash, they need to give some idea when they hope to B/E...that would give investors more confidence.

Its heading in the right directions....will it get there before the cash runs out...time will tell..

Gac141: here is another post...Velocys should update us about the status of Envia plant. The last communication dates from September 21, stating that construction was completed and commissioning was underway. Start up was promised before year end and we are almost one month beyond that without any information. One can expect for something to go wrong during the commissioning/startup phase so it is OK for Velocys to say that.

Interesting day really.. I sort of expected a slight retracement but still plenty of Buys coming back in and Level 2 is getting stronger so perhaps we might get close to break even towards the end.

We are still waiting on the news and it genuinely could be any day.

Just surprised I am the first to post today.

I found it a month or so ago.. I cannot remember where now. I was doing some research on tax breaks and went onto a government site I think and saw it. I typed it up at the time but can't remember if I have posted it here before.

The other thing is Trump is well into his coal and a CTL plants should get the thumbs up! We have one in the wings..just waiting for announcement.

gac141: where did you get the information that a tax break is being put forward in Washington for natural gas conversion? Trump made a lot of promises about coal, gas and oil but that is the first time I hear this specific suggestion.

Trump is friendly to the hydrocarbon industry and keen on self-sufficiency. That should be good for GTL. There’s a tax break that was being put forward in Washington for natural gas conversion technologies - I think this has a greater chance of passing under Trump.

So something to look out for?

PUGUGLY- Yes Shares magazine tipped in Sept at circa 30p and again a few days ago. Numis have put a price of 107 p on them recently and the new strategy is under way.

I think a lot of people know a lot more about what is happening with VLS behind the scenes than they are letting on. The average daily trades have gone through the roof and plenty of fair sized trades too. I am going to watch this space.
