I found this interesting.

Significant progress has been made by the parties relating to the historic claim. The Attorney General’s office has approved the terms of the settlement agreement relating to the historic claim and has recommended this to government for signature. The fully executed settlement is currently awaited to enable the Company to complete the process of recovery, and the Company remains confident of a successful conclusion. No amount has been recognised in the financial.
This piece i found most interesting.
"and the Company remains confident of a successful conclusion".

I post this as even to the 10th October this is what they were saying.

whilst the Board remains confident, there can be no guarantee of a successful outcome." there can be no guarantee of a successful outcome".

this has always been added at the end.

seems as if something has changed.

It looks as if this had something to do with vast changing its offtake agreement from Mercuria to Trafigura.
Slower concentrate sales in Romania in the second half of the year.

I did wonder why they had moved from Mercuria to Trafigura. If Mercuria were slow to take the concentrate, I see now why they did it.

What it does not say is, if the concentrate was all sold in that 6 months. Or was some still being stockpiled to sell at a later date.

13TH March 2024.

Vast Resources plc, the AIM-listed mining company, is pleased to announce that it has secured a new exclusive offtake agreement with Trafigura Group Pte (‘Trafigura217;) for all copper concentrate (‘the New Offtake’) produced at the Company’s 100% owned Baita Plai Polymetallic Mine in Romania.

Anyone remember this.Just another lie the trolls tried to spin.

.In August 2024, the Company’s 100% subsidiary Vast Baita Plia SA (“VBPSA”) successfully extended the Head Licence held by Baita SA and under which VBPSA has the rights to mine polymetallics at BPPM for a further five years by way of Government Decision 6/2024 on 9 August 2024.
They ignored the truth and tried to spin another lie.

Asi am always reading up on the companies i hold shares in, I just come across this that i had not noticed before.

Vast Resources plc (‘Vast’ or the ‘Group’ or the ‘Company’;) is focused on key mining opportunities in Romania, Zimbabwe and Tajikistan. These opportunities comprise the Baita Plai Polymetallic Mine (“BPPM”) in Romania, the Group’s expected opportunity in Zimbabwe, and participation in two mining projects in Tajikistan.

this is the piece i had missed before. "The Group’s expected opportunity in Zimbabwe". So lets see what this will be, in the future though. Some will say just more jam in the future. Naysay have said a lot in the past and called it wrong. But to listen to them they have never call anything wrong. I like to look whats ahead, that way i can see whats coming. Unlike a troll that just keeps looking behind him.
Very dangerous that. You never know whats coming around that corner.

So it all about opinions. Is AP a good CEO. I would say yes. the naysays say no.

Now i was watching some so called unbiased reporters on one of the MSM news programs. They were talking about trump and him giving Elon Musk a job in his cabinet. what experience does he have, they asked. The fact that he is one of the most intelligent people in the world, apart from most likely the richest. The fact that he has built from scratch about 4 successful companies. Would make him the ideal person to do the job he has done so successful before.

You see it matters not what a naysay thinks. because they dont. They are paid to give a negative opinion, no matter what.
Nickey Hayly, run for the Democrats a few years ago. She did not like the way the DEMS were headed, so left the party. Now she has gone over to the Republican party, and is going to be another part of trumps Cabinet. According to the Dems she is not fit to do what she is planned to do. The fact that not long ago she was fit to run for the DEMS as party leader, matters none now. Not everyone agrees with everything. Like here those that lost money and sold up, hate AP and the company. But those with the power to vote, because they hold shares are mostly happy. So if you are a none holder, your opinion means nothing. But you think it does, for some strange reason. Maybe like the MSM, you think if you say something enough times you may brain wash someone to agree with your point of view. The only people that agree with your points of view are the other trolls.

GF. Gulf International Minersls have ceased operating at Aprelevka. Their accounts say so. Because all the money gets stolen by the government, staff and officials.
So that means $0 revenue here.

The tailings still need to be trucked 130km as the crow flies before it can even be processed. Just who do you think would be willing to do that?

Little details.

0.5p is nothing. Thats just a market cap of about £12.3m.
But we will see. I dont see many fireworks when the news is released regarding the money from the first news regarding the second agreement relates to the marketing of a fixed amount of 500 tonnes of high-grade Au concentrate. but the first agreement will.
Aprelevka will also show great revenue. But we will have to wait until around march to here that news.

Romania While production at Baita has increased over last year, sales have been slow and we have been disappointed by our progress. After the year end the Company decided to enter Vast Baita Plai SA, the operator of the Baita Plai Polymetallic Mine (“BPPM”), into a period of voluntary reorganisation to be effected by a Court judged process under the Insolvency Act in Romania. This was a reaction to a dispute with the Unions and certain members of the Baita Plai workforce which unreasonably compromised the ability of the mine to improve productivity. The reorganisation request was approved by the court and the Company has restructured operations. After the year end, we entered into an important royalty agreement with a mine greening company. Vast has the inhouse expertise and assets to assist with further processing and commercialisation of product at a number of clean-up sites. This provides an exciting growth opportunity, diversification, low capital intensity, and offers near-term liquidity.

The Company continues to maintain the Manaila Polymetallic Mine (“MPM”) on care and maintenance while it seeks funding at the project level to restart the operation. The Company is in fact in dialogue with multiple investors regarding both MPM and BPPM who recognise the potential of these assets and have commenced due diligence

you never see a CEO saying this. Over last year, sales have been slow and we have been disappointed by our progress.
DISAPOINTED by our progress.

vast are producing zinc concentrate but its gone quiet of late..this was october 2023 announcement : At the Takob processing project, Vast announced the loading of the first shipment of 136 dry metric tonnes of lead and zinc concentrate for delivery to off-taker Trafigura. This is a significant milestone for the project as Vast has now completed all necessary logistics for shipments of concentrate out of Tajikistan. With the logistics in place, Vast said it expects regular shipments in the future.

Ice

I noticed this in that article you posted.
It imposed controls over exports of germanium and gallium products last August.

I have been reading a lot of this going on of late.
Sooner or later it will start to happen with copper and gold, along with other commodities. The thing with copper is, If you have a copper mine in Europe, they will want that ore kept in Europe. so as there are very few copper mines in the whole of Europe, they will have to buy it from countries that do have plenty of copper mines, in doing so they will have to pay a premium. But at the moment most smelters are in China, or in Asia. So if they want the likes of European copper to stay in Europe, they will have to build the smelters for it. More smelters more competition. So the price will have to drop. Making more profit for miners.

AT the moment we live in a world where, people dont want any mining done in there back yards. The days of countries like Africa, and south America selling there commodities go for a cheap price will finish very soon.

I have been doing a lot of research for a few months now on a company that is in the process of developing a machine to turn plastic back to its original form. Did you know only about 10% of plastic can be recycled at the moment. Its a very big problem.

Zinc is a very interesting commodity.
I did not realise how short the market was for Zinc. but it gets used with lots of other metals. I did not know it had so many uses. I like it more as a by-product out of a mine, than it being the main commodity from a mine.

SO WHY WAS THIS NOT RNS.

, Aprelevka open pit extension with newly discovered high grade ORE.

So let us look what this is worth to vast.
In Q2 they produced 2878 oz of gold alone. Vast get 4.9% of the 49%. less costs. So working on just $2,500 a oz before expenses that $176,000, just for the quarter. or staying at that amount over the year $705,112. That is before silver is taken into account or any other commodity. I have no idea what cost will run out too. But with the governments share of cost being 51%, and all goldminers making a lot of money. It should be a nice income. Remember costs also will include management fee for the employees vast have working there.
