08/1/2007 18:13 | egoi your continued confidence when all the evuidence points in the other direction reminds me of king Canute. the company has not denied the FACT of the HMRC raid, nor the FACT of the cheap touting around of the Liverpool deal nor the FACT that its head of sport has an eight year ban from the DTI (which other reputable firm of Chartered Accountants would ever consider employing someone with this record)? You keep on puffing and puffing but nowhere do you deny THE FACTS I will be interested to see the WIP figure and Receivables figure in these next accounts, this is the giveaway! | agreeable
08/1/2007 15:27 | Looking forward to decent results and outlook; lots of innuendo but not a thing has been sustained, classical cowardly behaviour from shorters really. Pots calling kettles! -:) Unless the company have anything to add (I doubt it myself) that will be the green light and shorters will be outed. I think a few intelligent ones may have started covering today realising the game's up ahead of Wednesday's numbers. Once that rally gains pace the rest will realise they have been rumbled. Tomorrow afternoon's trading will be interesting - will those who are short be forced to cover or will they take the risk of being caught on Wednesday when they are disappointed and thereby risk losing a sackful on their little short?? In the unlikely event there is anything then we'll see how it goes. | egoi
08/1/2007 09:35 | Agreeable, A grim thankyou for the Mail piece - it makes painful reading and whilst none of us know the full truth, it's likely that the article may contain a number of facts. Furthermore, the absence of comment from Vantis does not help. I'm seriously considering baling out if we dip below 200p - a tremendous disappointment given that I've held since just above 110p and had seen this as a golden egg. | spaceparallax
05/1/2007 15:23 | Piedro, Thanks for that - their increase, albeit marginal, is a much needed vote of confidence at this time. | spaceparallax

05/1/2007 12:44 | Anyone know whether the RNS signifies an increase or reduction of the Royal Mail's holding? | spaceparallax
04/1/2007 08:57 | If there had been any need for a statement i think there would have been one at the AGM. This story was mentioned on iii as long ago as July and I ignored it as the poster failed to verify his sources. I think it is rather old news and the fall is overdone. Results next week will be in line and i guess the accompanying statement will hold the key. It sounds a real storm in a teacup to me and I think it unlikely there is any wrongdoing. Stand to be corrected of course, but I suspect the fall has been a few shorters chancing that something might be in the statement. If there isn't I expect to double my holding and will enjoy the inevitable short covering rebound. | egoi
03/1/2007 16:03 | spaceparallax, Thank you for the article - most disagreable and worst that I had expected. I have been out of contact for a few days as someone has been stealing the telephone cables. | piedro
03/1/2007 16:01 | Me and my big mouth! | spaceparallax
03/1/2007 10:07 | Bounce - perhaps info on the way? | spaceparallax
02/1/2007 16:20 | Agreeable, It's so hard to know because no-one's telling us anything. I'm so disappointed, as this has long been one of my favourites offering good growth over a sustained period. | spaceparallax
02/1/2007 16:03 | I fear that this is just the tip of the iceberg. You will remember there was an unexplained 2 day delay in issuing last results, never a good sign. I think its time to head for the hills | agreeable
29/12/2006 13:48 | Perhaps they are waiting for the Interims which should be in January. Can someone post the article. | piedro
29/12/2006 12:33 | Heartening to see that the Market reaction has been reasonably restrained i.e. approx 15% down. Rather disappointed not to have seen any statement by VTS to outline what's going on - its absence will no doubt fuel speculation. | spaceparallax
28/12/2006 11:52 | It'll certainly be interesting to see whether it develops into a big issue or fizzes out. It's such a shame after a very promising year and good share price progress. | spaceparallax
27/12/2006 18:47 | I imagine our Chancellor to be hopping mad and ordering the handcuffs! | jbarcroftr
27/12/2006 16:12 | Quick, Thanks - some people can be a bit too clever. | spaceparallax
27/12/2006 15:13 | egoi - A city firm !! I'm a humble farmer from Yorkshire. | chester
27/12/2006 13:55 | Ace, Thanks for the feedback - I wasn't aware of that. Could be a bombshell - depending on whether it's shown to be evasion or avoidance of tax! Must say, I'm very surprised. | spaceparallax |
