The problem is raids on the directors homes by Inland Revenue officers.It is alleged that VTS have been putting wealthy clients into some complicated tax evasion scheme. I read about it in a Sunday Times article and must admit was concerned that it would have a damaging effect on the co's reputation whether there was anything in it or not. I had expected the shares to gap down on open this morning but took advantage of the slightly muted to reaction to bail out anyway.

Strange share price dip, not dissimilar to that immediately before Xmas, but larger. Hopefully, it'll claw its way back during the day.

If the bollinger bands on this get any tighter they'll be touching each other.

This should breakout soon and it should be explosive.

Sleeping pills will wear off soon, as we get to 20 trading days before results, then the 'regulars' will sniff around this thread with forecasts of 700p eps etc etc..........

Excellent results out from DEBT today, shows the IVA market is a great place to be.
Shrewd move from VTS IMO.

Maybe that's an overhang finished? Actually I am surprised the other way - it is over 100 million market cap company, so am surprised there is so little trading. Anyway I continue to back this company and expect to see steady progress.

Still a nice company, Perhaps a bigger acquisition would be the 'clincher' for a move up.

Another solid inline update, particularly pleased with that the IVA launch is going well. Should be a good strong growth area for the future.

Pre-Close Trading Update


Vantis, the AIM listed accountancy and professional services group is reporting
on its trading progress, prior to entering the close period in respect of the
six months ended 31 October 2006.



Interim results for the six months ended 31 October 2006 are due to be announced
on Wednesday 10 January 2007, in accordance with the Group's usual timetable
with profitability and cash generation expected to be in line with current
forecasts.



Good progress is being made across all business areas.



Vantis is particularly pleased with the launch of MyDebtExit as part of the
overall expansion programme of the Business Recovery Services Division. Test
marketing has begun in two selected regions, Colchester and Reading, and
national press initiatives are being implemented to ensure a national launch in
January 2007.



The Group's core business of accountancy, tax, business recovery, IFA and
consultancy continues to grow in a stable market, with good recurring revenues
and the higher margin specialist services continue to be developed.



The Vantis brand continues to gain recognition with strengthening market
perception assisting in the recruitment of high calibre key personnel to enhance
service excellence.

Rising support, MACD turning up, all the other indicators turning up.

From my triangle charting I reckon this is due a run to around 310p pretty damn soon.

Perhaps, although the highs do seem a bit stuck. A dose of very good news could promote a leap.

Interesting chart for those who get bored easily, like me. Looks like we can expect some further movement around the beginning of December once this cycle is completed.
