Well maybe as Suzy knows she is going to need to do a placing and secure support for a share issue, she will offer him an NED role to save their asses on the basis that he votes for headroom shares and chucks in a massive share option to cover his dilution.

Would be a mixed reaction in that situation, need him on the Board yes, but need the deadwood gone - need Adam as CEO really and Suzy moved to head Sciences, new FD to replace Gerry and Kevin and Martin gone.

I hope the guy doesn’t sell himself out to save their asses

@Nick
Shares ARE being sold at 9p
There are plenty here still holding from 3.5p April 21 with great returns and others selling prior to the next planing

And NO I actually said I won’t buy this stock at ANY price with the current BOD and their continual raise/spend/raise/spend/consolidate ethos. Come on Nick three consolidations and five raise already with Suzy as CEO and a 6th due any moment - come on, when is enough enough

What I posted was, I would support a discounted raise ONLY if Adam was the CEO on the board and it was going to be the last raise for working capital.

Anyhow, matters not what we say, Suzy holds the cards and is due to outline the plans and requirements at the presentation ahead of the AGM - let’s see what she has to say

Good luck

You can stand by whatever you like Russell. 40million shares will be rejected by SH. They do not need £2.3m working cap. Guarantee it won’t happen.

Share Placing Number 6 is Not far off now.

They need to pass the resolution for the headway shares hence the lab meeting.

Assuming cash burn is not worse than forecast when the results statement is delivered they have EXACTLY 7 mths cash runway left.

No revenue in 15 years, 3 share consolidations and 5 placings by Suzy already since she became CEO, so what's another placing anyway?

There is no event short term that will bring cash in, so SH need to support. Like it or not, the alternative is lights out and administration.

I'm standing by :-

40m shares at 5p placing and 10m broker shares at 5p for current shareholder to raise £2.3m after costs and I genuinely think this will be a tough call in the current climate. That would give them circa an 18mth runway to get the business positioned - lets see what happens.

IF cash burn to the year end, when the results statement is issued is worse than forecast we could well be back to April 21 share price levels of 3.5p

We will all know soon enough...

Suzy just tweeted 1 hr ago. It appears she is appearing on video alone. No panu (cant ask why panu not buying)
No kevin cox( he gone fishing up in Scotland). No cathy (too busy at Milner therapeutics) no mark treharne ( too busy playing tennis with slater😳).
Conclusion. Shareholder vote unanimously to put suzy in lego lab. Kevin to remain in Scotland. Panu to move to the investor chronicle and treharne to massage slaters calves. Oh and porky to be media correspondent for valirx (he doesn’t sleep you know)DYOR

Totally agree Silicon Porky post what you like about Val BUT stop posting pathetic comments about lowly priced placings .Trying to deramp a biotech for your own advantage while trying to ruin cures for patients is lowlife behaviour .Remember Dddd went bust so no one is going to sell Val at 9p when you were ramping Val at 60pBuy low sell high

“Investors would support a placing if they had confidence it was the LAST one.”

The kind of placing you suggest (40m at 5p etc) will not be supported. Sorry to disappoint you.

No one is disagreeing on 201. It’s a mess and needs sorting.

Where there is disagreement is on placings.
There are a only very small number of SH who are pushing for a large placing at low share price

The majority will vote against any resolution that requests headroom that exceeds that required for working cap. Anything even approaching the 30% as per previous resolution 4, will be rejected and i suspect result in voting certain bod members off.

@ porky.you said valirx would delay results. Wrong again 🫣. On a positive note their presentation must include something positive. With adams radio silence on lse over many weeks. could he be going on the board is some kind of position? Not sure. We will see.
Valirx have to release something positive before to present otherwise p45 on steroids awaits

The shambles that is 201 - I discussed on LSE:-

Regarding THX, being way past "fair wait" is an understatement. A most farcical situation, it would be funny if it wasn't so serious. 201 is just sitting there, nearly yet another two years on, still waiting for this tin pot outfit to see if it can get funded or not. Can you imagine if back then it had gone to a major? we would be two years into early stage trials now . Its nothing short of a travesty frankly.

Wasted capital but more importantly wasted time, another two years that shareholders have wasted just to get trials started to see if 201 works or not and that's if the deal is signed tomorrow, yet its still ongoing!! Its also time you might not have if you are a cancer sufferer.

IF they end up pulling it from THX its another year with DD to find a major to take it because the Valirx BOD have not already acted. That's why sticking to timelines is so essential.

It would have been perfectly reasonable, based on the numerous missed deadlines and no fees paid to Valirx, for the Exclusivity clause to be removed a year ago. We could have alternative options lined up now. That's business. We are not here to make friends, we are here to find cures and get deals done.

It's my primary reason why I currently remain bearish, I don't claim to be the next Elon Musk but I'm involved in a few businesses and i look at this situation and I just would not tolerate it under any circumstances.

It really is a p poor management decision to reside over this and when you couple this with other poor board decisions, I'm thinking my god, the board really do lack any commercial acumen, its naivety at best, would they make these ridiculous calls if it were their own money and now they will want more? and that's why i keep saying, you don't know what you don't know and doing the same things and expecting a different outcome is madness. I appreciate i keep going on about this but i'm genuinely passionate about this - its plain wrong and it needs sorting.

This is how i see it

Dont waste your time in replying to porky
99.99% of shareholders disagree with his future estimations(even he does himself if you analyse his posts🫣). (a couple of green inexperienced investors still believe him) As long as his original prejudice remains..”6p. And placing..etc..”;. Only the “…valirx are pleased to report theoremrx have secured their funding round for 201…” rns would silence it and even porky might say the rns is a fake🫣.Ԁ76;

No one is going to argue that Val201 isn’t a shambles. Although it still plagues us, it’s done it’s damage.

Buy and Build on the other hand has yet to do so. This is why SH voted down resolution 4 and why the bod will need to pause this strategy until much further down the line. They won’t get away with further dilution at this share price except for the minimum necessary for working cap if required. They will be voted out if they try.

Porky9 you mention if Adam were to pull on a contact at the likes of AZN re VAL201.The Co-inventor of CLX001 is Charles Chen, who was a PhD student working alongside Martin Ulmschneider at King's College. Check out where he is now a Senior Scientist..... yes, none other than AZN. He and Martin own 20% of Cytolytix so he is still an interested party and I would imagine could be a potential contact point/conduit for introducing VAL201 to AZN.On Linkdin (or Twitter) he has liked a number of Vairx's/ Inaphaea's posts..GLA
