Is that your point taken from the brilliant CPR? Lbe is a company that does what it says not jam tomorrow.
Get your licences (psc) here sorted out first before you start trashing other companies.
As for drilling lbe effectively beats upl to that. Do you know what are discovered resources? Yes projects that someone else has drilled and found hydrocarbons have just been provisionally granted to lbe together with another partner.
No exploration risk just straight into development. And that adds to the huge block 2A.
Therefore in Malaysia, Lbe beats Upl again.
Beat you to psc, beat you to cpr, beat you to top class experience BOD, beat you to drilling and imo will beat you to farm-out.

As I've been saying, LBE rampers make me laugh!.Today's LBE RNS backs up what I've said, that UPL will complete drilling of well(s) before LBE have started drilling, making UPL the best near term investment choice between the two..What it says in the LBE RNS is "progress the prospect towards drilling in the next 18 months"..18 months LOL! UPL will have at least one well completed and tested before that and quite possibly more.

Thomas Kuud (also known as Nyanat) has the role of Chief Executive on the Org Chart released in the UPL April Monthly Report.

This is interesting because Thomas actually represented Petros during the Joint Technical Study for SK334

You can see him the pictures on the link with the hat next to Bol.

Which half (…or 5) Spangle. As per the latest monthly the only one I mentioned that is coloured ‘Subject to ongoing approvals’ is the CPR. I will also give you the drilling asap and into 2025, but there is a much lower risk of that not being achievable.

Richsif - nice list, but half are conditional on PSC award in immediate future. If that lags, so do the dates.

I have on my calendar "buy Ferrari" in July, but that's conditional on winning the premium bond first prize in June. If I don't win in June, "buy Ferrari" shifts to August

Would be nice if we could stop bashing others investments. UPL (onshore)and LBE (offshore) are not competitors. Entirely possible both will be successful.

Back to UPL since this is a UPL Board

- Cove Investors have bought over £1M
- Founder and Former Chairman recently added to his huge holding with an additional £2M shares purchased at 3.30
- Last BoD/Exec Buys at 4.00
- Schlumberger commenced Basin Modelling in April
- Award of Drilling Rig contract in July
- $5m Financing in place
- CPR planned for August/Sept
- Drilling ASAP and throughout 2025 (Campaign)
- AGM no later than 31-July
- New Broker Note expected in July

Follow the breadcrumbs

So far LBE have no licences issues ie have psc, have informative presentations, 3D shot on 50% of Block 2A , CPR imminent and highly significant have provisionally been granted discovery resources, highly experienced credible BOD and near 50% of shares with large long term shareholders. Who will do what first only time will tell.Good luck to us all.

Get your psc ( which is the most important) and cpr done. The way this is dragging should worry any investor.LBE and UPL ( with psc granted) should both do well but the former imo has the most potential upside.

The LBE rampers make me laugh.
.
LBE only just announced "farm-out process to be launched H2-24"
Launched does not mean completed, it means marketing it, waiting to see who is interested, whittling down the interested parties to a select few that seem the most credible and worthwhile as partners, then going into highly detailed discussions to narrow that down to one or two selected partners, then going through the legal contract writing, all parties agreeing on the wording, and eventually sign off of those agreements.
They have not even launched it yet, that could take a couple of months.
By the time they get to sign off it could be 6-9 months away.
.
By the time LBE gets it's fam out, UPL will already be drilling.
.
Lunacy to suggest that LBE is a better near term bet than UPL, but rampers just like to flood the UPL boards with their false and misleading claims.

Stockhunters No. It's looks very much above board who the drilling Co is. It's just the Upland website is poor to source the relevant detail and they could sort this very easily by having a dedidcated investor presentation and a shareholdings page but they don't so there in lies the capacity to have to dig unnecssarily to do any dd.

What's cheap or expensive ? Depends how you view it. Cheap if it finds a lot of oil or gas. Expensive if it doesn't have early success and it doesn't have a back-up underpinning asset to lock that value in the share price.

What good points were made out of curiosity? We have already established Vanguard are a legitimate company with years of drilling experience. Added to that they are already in partnership with Huisman and have direct experience working with the rig model we will be using. Finally the Org Chart shows they are only one cog in the wheel in terms of our Drilling Team. The Head of Drilling role sits with Paul Spilsbury at NRG.

www.nrg-wellmanagement.com/wm-about/

Paul has 41 years of international oil and gas experience, working his way up from field positions to manage UK and international drilling operations and services. Paul joined NRG in 2011, and leads NRG’s well management projects, while also taking an active role in examination and drilling risk survey responsibilities.
