I was in a rush and, sadly (broke my own rule) and trusted what you wrote without clarifying. Your post was to allude that this was some sort of scam. I looked up Vanguard on companies house quickly and it seemed odd to be a lone actor based in the well known oil and gas city of Bradford! lol!Was on the tube and lost connection and I only caught up in the last couple of hours. Hope that clarifies the situation

It’s not a new company. The LinkedIn for company has Founded 2016. The CEO is Josh Galloway, who was in attendance (alongside other 3rd parties) when UPL and Petros met the Sarawak Premier in London.

As mentioned already. There is an Org Chart which the company released. On the chart you will find a comprehensive list of filled roles and vacancies. David Cruichank is there as Rig Operation Manager reporting to Head of Drilling Paul Spilsbury. Beneath David there is a Rig Manager, Snr Toolpusher, Night Toolpusher, 4x Drillers, 2x Asst Drillers, and a Lead Technical who has a Mechanic and Electrician reporting to him.

Well if's the same person, new company (Vanguard Energy Company ltd) or not, he seems to have a wealth of drilling experience, so that would put that to bed.

Again, could be avoided re poor info on the website and zero presentation where investors and potential investors have to look for clarification.

It's called doing research. I'm not saying there's a conspiracy in any shape or form.

I'd like to know what exprience the drilling company has and how long they've operated for. UPL could make that clear as indeed who ever is behind Vanguard as it's a seperate company.

Huisman supplies a rig but it's who is operating that rig in terms of drilling succsseful wells is the issue.

The "One Vanguard employee" mentioned that you provided the link and name as David Cruickshank in your post. That confirms my concern earlier and their poor website with no director, management, experience, jobs done for reference or address or phone detail.

That's likely the same guy who set up Vanguard Energy Services ltd formed Nov 2023 with one director (David Cruikshank) based in Inverness Scotland that i already reffered to in my early post . Nature of business Test Drilling and Boring.

Formed barely 7 months ago 21/11/23.

(Judge i do have a holding as i posted before but i'm dammed if i'm not going to research things inside out before i commit further).

They behaved in a cowboy fashion imo re the bid and its my money at risk when i want to know more about the drillng Co. The rig isn't the issue.

Zengas wouldn’t be posting 10 to the dozen, if he didn’t have a strong interest here.
His research is of course first class and based on his recent postings, I would be surprised if he already had some skin in the game.
Conclusion
1.. the share price hasn’t yet reached his buy point and
2 .. his posts might help nudge the company into action.

They are a Huisman partner. If that wasn’t the case I am sure Huisman would be quick to report them for saying so on their website, rather than working with them directly in Germany. Upland visited Huisman in Netherlands last year. The partnership with Vanguard is directly linked to that visit, and the rig we chose. It’s not complicated. There is no conspiracy.

Why not focus on Huisman themselves? Or NRG?

UPL socials today have clarified drilling ASAP, and throughout 2025. I am completely content with them being conservative on dates until Petros go through the formalities.

Richsif - so why's that not available on Vanguards website or elsewhere ?
So why don't they put some facts on their website like who they are ? management ? directors, address ? contact ? actual drilling jobs done ? - but no.

That link you provided is - It's not from Huisman or VG Drilling.

I don't doubt a rig is booked, what i do doubt is whether a well will spud this side of 2025 given Upland slipping it further down the progress report earlier this week and mentioning drilling in 2025 coupled to the Sarawak govt spokesman also saying the expectation is 2025.

Have you ever heard of Cove? LBE licence SK334 has a better potential for shareholder returns.
note, onshore is not at all times cheaper than offshore. is all down to the economics and volumes.

Happy for all to do well guys but stick to your own board. I am not interested in expensive offshore plays.

What's holding the psc is the question? Without it everything else is pointless .LBE already have psc and their cpr is due any day. UPL promised since last year and shareholders continue to waite.No psc, no cpr, no presentations, no jv .

Oh wait, the rig is LOC 400-3. We have reserved LOC 400-6. Hmmmm, so that would mean the crew have working experience on our Rig Model. That would be good wouldn’t it..

Vanguard work closely with Huisman as it says on their website. There is no conspiracy. UPL has posted an Org Chart, on that Org Chart you will find more than a couple of Vanguard employees. A quick “google” will show you the experience they come with. The CEO was pictured alongside UPL execs at the meeting with the Sarawak Premier. All available information if you research correctly. ;-)

It was so called armchair detectives that worked out the bid was fake before the company took a week to do so !

If you read this one wonders why Upland didn't go for a rig available in Sarawak ? 2025 might also explain why the SK334 PSC for Upland hasn't been as quick to come as many expected.

Petros and Petra Energy started onshore drilling last October in Sarawak.

Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Pattingi Tan Sri Abang Johari reaffirmed the Governments committment to reinvigorate onshore drilling.

"As for block SK334, Petros is wrapping up a joint technical study and we are looking forward to the potential drilling of an exploration well in 2025 " he shared.
