Well, it would be embarrassing if they signed off an LoI and then the PSC didn't happen, but an LoI is an agreed non-binding framework between two companies.

I imagine it's been done to enable them to move rapidly with a full commitment once the PSC is approved, with a secondary plus that it demonstrates commitment to PETROS that they are serious about plans for the licence

So, definitely a positive step

It's a done deal on the PSC obviously, just going through the motions..They wouldn't sign an LOI for a rig if there was any question over the PSC not subsequently arriving..Worth a read.hTTps://www.investopedia.com/terms/l/letterofintent.asp.

Which is why I think they are expecting news, so just timing it to when they expect news rather than doing it weeks after the news. Such short notice for me suggests that too.

Hiding the AGM in the week between Christmas and New Year isn't the world's best plan for getting noticed, if they're believe they're going to have good news to announce, or they want people to attend, or watch a presentation?

That is only 13 trading days. Seems like short notice? Do they perhaps think there will be good news between now and then? Either way, a lot of good info should be purveyed at the AGM and I'd have thought news in a 7am AGM update statement as well, and a presentation to download.
