15/7/2018 08:24 | Mornin’ hull - I believe in charts when they predict a move in the direction I want. Nice link. ;) | argyle underclap
15/7/2018 08:18 | Good morning all, for those of you who are interested in such things. | hulltiger
14/7/2018 17:10 | Just setting the record straight Yoga. We have had significant dilution here in UPL during the past 12 months and I'm glad that we have. Nothing wrong with raising funds and issuing options if it improves the outlook for the company. I hope we continue to do well out of both. | druidinvestor
14/7/2018 16:17 | My bad, let's please not turn this BB into an NCCL debating/ramping/tra | yogaboy
14/7/2018 12:45 | So NCCL have only raised funds and issued options in the last year?No mention of the binding JDA they are about to conclude at the end of July with GE and CMEC? I've done very well out UPL in the last year, I've done even better out of NCCL. | druidinvestor
14/7/2018 11:59 | Haha Spangle93..I thought I was being constructive...;) | grannyboy
14/7/2018 11:52 | Spangle hopefully no one can talk trash about our other U - UOG. | soulsauce
14/7/2018 11:45 | Blimey grannyboy, I thought it was just for ZEN that you reserved your disgust ;-) | spangle93
14/7/2018 11:16 | NCCL have done nothing over the last year besides fundraising and filing options to the management...on top of that more will be required in September... Shareholders are going to be diluted to death in another waste of space AIM miner!!! | grannyboy
14/7/2018 11:02 | Hi Divmad, it does look a super bet, although oilers have always been very high risk.As I have said in the past, would you rather be drilling in the conditions that Wick offers, or the deep sea and hurricane ridden torrain that the Bahamas offers?, I know where my money is safer. | hulltiger
14/7/2018 10:55 | Morning Yoga, I have been on the Tern merry go round since day one, needless to say some profit taking along the way. I got on board there after the demise of Silvermere, not one of the mega holders on there but comfortable. Although I am invested I never post on the Tern BB, as it has been trashed after some brilliant research, by some very decent investors.Best of luck with both of yours, although I have to admit I have not come across NCCL, so will have a peak. | hulltiger
14/7/2018 10:54 | Welcome aboard Hulltiger. I'm not that far south of you, in sunny Peterborough. Have been here for about a year now, adding on pullbacks as the primary trend makes its way higher. Plenty of news to unfold in the next year and well worth putting in the bottom drawer, due to quality and financial interest of management. | divmad
14/7/2018 10:11 | Nice one tiger "the two small caps I am invested in"... me too! NCCL and UPL. Both about to burst, I reckon. What's your other? | yogaboy
14/7/2018 09:24 | Good morning all from a very warm and sunny North Lincolnshire. After a week of R and R in a lovely country estate hotel,I need another week, to get over it. Funny how the pounds fly out of your wallet and some get lodged on your waist.I am so confident of the two small caps I am invested in, I did not take my computer and just left such matters to the Gods. It is good to see the stability still in the share price and it looks as if more shares are going into safe hands. It is very encouraging to see Louise, a much respected investor, see fit to increase her holding here. I am usually very reluctant to introduce investors to something I believe in but in this case, I really do think, this is the best small cap around at the moment. So to Poppet, Louise and those others who have not yet showed heir face on here, good luck. Reading up on the research this week, I draw a comparison between this and the early days of BPC. As with this company there was a change of government in the Bahamas but the difference being that the Sarawak government have tackled the oil and gas industry immediately and have achieved more in two weeks, than the Bahamas government did in two years. All the good stuff has already been written about that small neat a tidy company, so relax and await developments. | hulltiger
14/7/2018 07:02 | Divmad here’s the text from the 2.5p oversubscribed placing back in June. “Upland Resources Limited (LSE: UPL), the oil and gas company actively building a portfolio of attractive upstream assets is pleased to announce that it has conditionally placed 120,000,000 new shares of no par value in the Company (the "Placing Shares") with institutional and other investors at 2.5p per share (the "Placing Price") to raise GBP3,000,000 (before expenses). The placing was oversubscribed” I think most are here for more than 3p, the CEO elevator pitch recently outlining VERY lofty ambitions but we all have our exit plans. Everyday on the market is a bus stop, some get off, some get on. Some busses are full, some empty. Getting quite full in here it feels | argyle underclap
14/7/2018 06:06 | True. I was forgetting. But I can't believe that being MAin Board listed means all those placees are LTHs. | divmad
13/7/2018 20:49 | But not Aim. | soulsauce
13/7/2018 20:13 | Thanks copperpot and doughty. On a usual rule of thumb for AIM placings that roughly 40% of new shares are traded out, then we have passed that point with UPL's placing then. So the share price must be fairly well supported by investors, not traders, in the placing from now on. | divmad
13/7/2018 18:10 | Welcome Tia nice to have you here:) | stark industries
13/7/2018 16:19 | Good luck tialouise...but I would have rather preferred a Monday RNS as the reason for the rise. | doughty
13/7/2018 16:17 | The last 320 k are a buy and I should know xx | tialouise
13/7/2018 16:08 | Before the placing there were 459m shares in issue...of those 261m (57%) were held by directors and institutions... Directors 152m Tune 75m Optima 34m Leaving a free float of 188m (43% ) If the 120m placing shares at 2.5p are tightly held then the free float number of shares remains the same yet it becomes a smaller percentage of the overall shares in issue...i.e 34% If 87m shares have been traded since the placing that equates to 15% of the company or 44% of the notional free float ! There are no late trades declared so far...that is good IMHO ! EDIT: 320k 2 3.2p declared...pity | doughty
13/7/2018 15:26 | Hi Divmad, We are in the 17th trading day since the last shares where listed. I know it's very rough, but, we are averaging around 3.8 million shares traded per day. So, on that basis, I would say that we have traded around, give or take a few million 65 million shares. Fag packet stuff, I know, but it's the best I can do. | copperpot
13/7/2018 14:18 | Has anyone kept count of the shares traded since the last placing? | divmad |
