Secure the funds, bag the asset, deal therefore likely very close, and likely North Africa.

Absolutely brill to AGAIN see the CEO/etc fire their Dysons up.

Oversubscribed too.

When some canny lads buy £3m worth of shares at 2.5p its not because they expect them to go to 1p...and they also know exactly what the current position is with wick...sarawak...north africa...whatever...so its brilliant news for all of us IMHO...and I see lots of news to come v soon and new highs !

And new institutions on board too, should rebound from here. If it was oversubscribed and allocation was pro-rata to amount requested then the board were looking for even more shares than they managed to get.

The last placing we had was at 1.30 now at 2.50 and no doubt we will have more placings but at significantly higher SPs. Very similar to how Cove operated. All very positive!

Well the reason for the fall back is now explained but a decent price and oversubscribed.

Good news is there is plenty of of good words in there regarding north Africa and sarawak.
I suspect this extra money was required as the final piece to land the north Africa asset. We will see soon I think.

Fully funded now and yet again the directors have bought even more shares, all very encouraging which can only mean that the next step is to announce assets.

Yes, one would think a floor's now in place but this is the stock market so anything's possible - uncertainty and unpredictability is a natural aspect of this area of human activity

Fair value placing at 2.5, no discount. With that out of the way, let's take some leaps forward this year :-)

I stock ever goes up in a straight line. The main short term drivers here are Wick, which if successful could add up to 30p and North Africa which if they get a 1TCF permit would conservatively add 75p plus. The best time to add is when the share price is stagnant or eroding. There will come a time, given the tightness of the shares that this will explode. Upl have no current financial commitment in Sarawak and when that resolves itself it could truly be the cream on the cake.In the meantime with NAfrica and Wick the share price in those two alone could be close to three figures.Remain a holder and adding where I can .

You do wonder how far this can drop and why the position is any different here now compared to when we hit 4p

I see this pattern time and time again. The rise, the slow pullback followed by the inevitable rise again. It's your choice whether you sell with your profit or hold for the potential bigger prize. With Wick spudding in q3, this will rise again. With other opportunities, this may rise significantly.

Re Petros v Petronas...it seems clear that the change of government has muddied the waters somewhat and the deal that was done in March may not be so watertight !...but listening to how Malaysian politics and law works ( interesting that a law can exist but it can be agreed to not enforce it ! ) I detect much going on behind the scenes...one thing to be clear about...and a thing that the new government is keen on too...is that Sarawak has been trying to get more autonomy over its O&G assets for some time...I remain happy to hold because I think a deal is there to be done in Sarawak...and that there other company changing irons also in the fire !
