An indicative price = in shares equating to that price, and from an unincorporated company (a group or entity looking to list in the US?) so was only at the drawing board stage. Rejected by the Board in any case. Today's buyers are very brave imho

Also they state its not even an unsolicited offer, its only a "preliminary approach".So if its not even an offer, why do the need to invoke an "offer period"It just doesn't add up.

This smells of a fake TO approach.Dont be surprised if its a group of known pumpers who have bought at sub 1p and have used social media to pump this stock and make plenty of chatter about takeovers and values. The board then going along with it and stating that even the outlandishly high 'supposed' TO offer is still significantly undervalued.We've had this before with companies, only for it to fizzle out and the supposed offerer to disappear, and nobody sny the wiser who was behind it.If it doesnt appear to add up, then it doesn't add up.Caution ?? needed.

Upland claims that the putative offer from SEC Capital “significantly undervalues the current potential of the company”.

Its asset portfolio spans Malaysia, Scotland's Moray Firth, and onshore England. Its corporate blurb says it is actively scouting for significant stakes in the oil and gas sectors.

At 8.25 am, the shares were changing hands for 5.33p each, up 81%, having been up to 7p earlier in the session.
