Jaknife instead of reiterating the same message, surely if you are confident in what you say then once is enough? If I was you, you'd look more genuine if you had just said what you thought and left it....I don't know either way what is real but your constant messaging does come across quite desperate.

FFS, UPL doesn't own anything that's worth taking over! Why would a major, for example, takeover UPL paying £25m+ when they could simply outbid UPL to buy the license?

All that UPL have is a minority stake in a tinpot company that's done a desktop study on a bit of rock. I could knock you up a dektop study on the whole of the North Sea for half the price but it would still be worthless - I don't have a license to drill the North Sea, in the same way that UPL doesn't have a license to drill Sarawak.

Come on guys, try harder!

It's curious that a broker would ask an investor a question like this if no actual bid had been made to the company management. If it's a hostile takeover situation then presumably we would have heard something from the company.

Nothing further from me. Not my job to educate you on how percentage interests in PSC’s work nor to have to correct your misleading statements. The market will decide the value as the news flows in over coming days and weeks

Company is also pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Upland Resources (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd ("UPS"), has entered an agreement with Big Oil Ventures Sdn Bhd ("BOV") to increase its interest in the Sarawak joint venture from 20% to 45%. The partners BOV and UPS through joint venture company Upland Big Oil Ventures Sdn Bhd ("UBO") are completing a Joint Technical Study of license SK334 in Sarawak for submission later this year to Petroleum Sarawak Berhad ("Petros"). UPS will pay to BOV USD 325,000 for its increased interest in UBO. The transaction with BOV is expected to close in March 2023.


The Financing (including the Subscription), is conditional upon final FCA approval of the Prospectus, and will be led by a small group of individuals most of whom were early-stage investors in Cove Energy plc. They have indicated they will invest a minimum £1,000,000. The Company also intends to place some shares through its broker Optiva Securities Limited. The Directors and other PDMRs are intending to invest approximately £50,000.


The Company will invest the proceeds as follows:



· Increase to 45% its interest in the joint venture company UBO;



· Fund its 45% contribution to the cost of the Joint Technical Study in Sarawak and other joint venture costs;


· Working capital

You are spending a lot of effort on a company you don't rate so can only assume you are massively SHORT and now sweating ha.

No, you will need to dig deeper to find out where you are wrong. I'm not in the business of helping you minimise your losses. Most guys using this platform have been following this stock for years, they know where we are, and they know the short and distort game. With so many easy targets around I'm not sure why you're here, but I don't want to discourage you so double down on your documents and double down on your investment if required. You don't want to find a good short and not make the most of it, right?

Fun facts

They own 45% of the JTS

They have submitted PSC proposal to Petros a month ago so that news could drop any time.

Sarawak has prolific hydrocarbons and we are going to get a piece of amazing onshore acreage surrounded by discoveries

Our management and major shareholders are extremely well connected in Sarawak

As stated by company we will not be raising capital for drilling as we will be carried for exploratory drilling by whatever major partner is going to be on the PSC

I don't think that's the case. To invest in a stock that becomes a target of a bid is the 'holy grail' in investing in shares but for many PI's it does not happen very often or ever (bit like winning the lottery) and so it just seems 'too good to be true' You would have thought, any bidder would come forward when we know what percentage is Upl's share of the block (assuming that all things point to them getting the licence) and the volume of potential oil and gas in SK334
