07/9/2017 12:40 | Quite kemche. Hopefully we could test 2p. | soulsauce
07/9/2017 12:38 | So 3m shares traded pushes up the price by nearly 10% - wonder how much it will rise should we get any favourable news! | kemche
07/9/2017 12:18 | tyler directors and partners loading up is a good thing imho, they are even more aligned to us. I think give it time, this will be a very good stock | thejaba
07/9/2017 12:17 | You need to have a word with yourself tyler. | soulsauce
07/9/2017 12:15 | And while I am having a rant...I want this to be at 5p before any news release! | tyler90
07/9/2017 12:13 | Will be very disappointed if it is Directors or their partners loading up again. Need them to get some value for shareholders rather than accumulate the shares for themselves at this stage. God, I sound like a grumpy old man again :-( | tyler90
07/9/2017 12:03 | Very interesting wonder what's woken it up. | soulsauce
07/9/2017 11:38 | We need a steady build up to any news. The pace of the build up will give some insight into the type of news. All IMHO as usual | tyler90
07/9/2017 11:23 | Has our Steve finally managed to pull his finger out? | kemche
07/9/2017 11:23 | Hmmmm, interesting rise, the start of a run? We'll find out | billyboychrisd
07/9/2017 11:17 | Yogaboy, of course :-) | tyler90
07/9/2017 11:01 | ... or buy? ;) | yogaboy
07/9/2017 10:37 | 340k buy has lifted the price by 2%.Always had the feeling that a bit of momentum and this could fly which is why it is so hard to make the decision'hold or sell' | tyler90
07/9/2017 08:11 | end of the month has come and gone and still nothing, getting frustrating now... | bumpa33
06/9/2017 14:47 | Apologies, ignore the above post. Supposed to show a person sat watching paint dry but did not quite work out. I am still learning at 72 :-) | tyler90

04/9/2017 16:28 | Should clarify, unless the failed deal has strong reasons, I'll be reducing my holding or exiting. All hypothetical though.... I'm fully in till then!! | billyboychrisd
04/9/2017 16:09 | Hang on a minute... 0.8% up... This one's about to burst ;-) just kidding... I hear and feel your frustration. However I believe something big will be revealed the next few months. If not, then things probably didn't work out with the current deal and I'll be exiting myself. One broken deal unfortunately implies the following one has a greater chance of failing, etc. Come on Mr Staley, put us out of our misery!!! :-D | billyboychrisd
03/9/2017 21:19 | Tyler, I think you need to show a little more patience, you've done it for 12 months so why on earth would you think of pulling out now. Yes it's extremely frustrating now but I would like to think that this time next year you and I will be still exchanging messages with the company's market cap many multiples of where it is now. Let's not forget that we are until 5mil mc today, we have no debt, cash in the bank, the directors are heavily invested and we are listed on the main market. | sull75
03/9/2017 20:56 | kemche...Job lost his wealth in a single day...I don't want us to be tested that much! Lol! | tyler90
03/9/2017 19:59 | Job would be proud of the patience we have shown thus far! | kemche
03/9/2017 19:42 | Sull75, I expected some sort of return within 12 months. If I wanted to keep my money safe, I would have deposited it in a bank but the returns are poor at the moment. For me to take a higher risk and place it in a stock like UPL, I expect it to show some type of sustainable return (higher than bank interest) after 12 months or news flow which would suggest that the investment is on the right track. Maybe I getting too impatient in my old age lol! | tyler90
03/9/2017 18:20 | What's your time period Tyler? Surely this would be classed as a long term hold, obviously de-risking along the way | sull75
03/9/2017 17:34 | Billyboychrisd, I invested for the very reasons you highlight and just after you in timescale but I generally set a time period for my investments and I went past that on 31 August so in a dilemma whether to break my own 'rules' by sticking with it for another 4 months or so until end of 2017 or early 2018 or just move on? This seems like a sensible board (at the moment anyway) so just thinking out aloud since not much more out there in terms of further research on the company. Your advice is appreciated :-) | tyler90
02/9/2017 14:03 | Hey Tyler, I'm not going to pretend I'm an expert, or that I have more information than anyone else here but I've met Steven Staley and have complete faith in him and his team, as I do with most shares I invest in. I would expect the next piece of good news to take this to 2/3p, with further news taking it nearer 6-8p. Steven is patient, diligent and intelligent. I first invested here 18 months ago and still don't see any reason something good won't come. I understand the frustration seeing other shares rise when yours don't, hence a diversified portfolio is advisable. UPL to me offers a low risk, reasonable growth prospect. As opposed to some of my portfolio currently being in high risk/reward scenarios. These are a few of the reasons why I have investment here. I hope you make the right choices for your needs and all the best with investing. | billyboychrisd |
