27/11/2017 09:44 | Hi boadicea - Just dropping by as used to be in the "loyalty" business and share drop today hit one of my screens - I think from having looked at the interim accounts and given today's rns you may be too generous with your estimates - Agreed re "eating cash" - Any views on how much the slow down is a result of Billy's ill health and how important is he to the retention of existing clients and the contracting of new ones ? | pugugly
27/11/2017 09:02 | Given the forecast of adjusted EBITDA and using a repaeat of last year's D&A with a typical tax charge leaves the profit looking at something like £900k imho (but please dyor as I'm not an accountant!) More obscure is the 'net cash' figure of £1.5M - the more so as advfn quote the net cash as -0.83pps or negative £1.92M as at last annual statement. The actual cash balance is ahown as £3.4M. There is (I hope) a disagreement about the definition of 'net cash'! It all leaves me with a fear that they may now be eating cash and hoping that someone can answer the conundrum. | boadicea
27/11/2017 07:49 | Profit warning today, jam in the new year my be share price down today IMHO. | dealit
11/10/2017 07:30 | The RNS statement today would suggest UNG are moving in the correct direction, partnership with Ingenico Group is very interesting they seem to fit well together IMHO. | dealit
05/10/2017 13:57 | ...and that explains my observation in 588 above. | boadicea
05/10/2017 12:44 | Gresham House Strategic have taken an initial stake | davidosh
27/9/2017 11:37 | finnCap today reaffirms its corporate investment rating on Universe Group PLC (LON:UNG) and cut its price target to 11p (from 13p). | loganair
26/9/2017 21:08 | I have decided to hold tight with my UNG shares. We will never know why people come and go within Companies. The in and out statements seem positive but who know, what I do know is that payment methods are changing in retail and UNG have the products to meet the needs of retailors IMHO. | dealit
26/9/2017 18:19 | I'm now almost out of this. However, one curious point about today's sell-off is the apparent willingness of the mm's to take a large number of sells without continuously lowering their bid. Perhaps they were well prepared with suitably short books - although more typically I would expect them not to drift too far from level on a thinly traded stock like UNG. Or do I smell a rat? Perhaps they know they have a rw&a buyer in the wings in which case we sellers may be approaching a 'doh!' moment. | boadicea
26/9/2017 11:05 | Well after a number of years play with this, i've taken my money off the table & cashed my chips. Good luck to all remainers! spud | spud
26/9/2017 08:33 | Yes Spud I agree totally. Would feel the timing of the resignation says it all they someone not been giving their all IMHO. | dealit
26/9/2017 07:39 | Oh dear. Jam tomorrow blah blah, second half weighted blah blah, board changes blah blah, revenue down eps down blah blah, investment in next gen blah blah. Too much spread, not enough jam. Great product, cr&p management. ROI - What ROI? Someone please give this lazy dog a good kicking. spud | spud
13/9/2017 21:42 | Just short of 2 years since any Contract news, the last being Conviviality on Oct 2015 according to my notes. I think we all expected more high profile contracts? | pj 1
13/9/2017 21:33 | The chart is giving absolutely nothing away is it? Impossible to call. The market distrusting of the 2nd half weighting. | pj 1
13/9/2017 16:43 | Well, the share price seems to be anticipating a disappointmnent on 26th. | boadicea
13/9/2017 16:23 | I see results are scheduled for Tuesday 26 September. I'm hoping it's not a jam tomorrow scenario again and that earnings aren't flat because without a reason (i.e divi) to stay in after 4+ years invested, I'm taking my ball home. Just saying... spud | spud
15/8/2017 16:15 | Being bought below 10p by CAM imo. spud | spud

28/6/2017 09:36 | Block trades from 23june printed last night so we might miss them, someone accumulating??? | melton john
27/6/2017 18:04 | And some more lumpy buys after the bell...spud | spud
23/6/2017 11:45 | OK trade, what is it? ADVFN help just says it's a block trade, google block trade and it says that it is a privately negotiated off market trade. I infer from that someone with a decent broker advertised 172k for sale at 10.80 so possibly trades above that price could have been buys. Seems to be a ready market but wtfdik. | melton john
15/6/2017 10:29 | Once the weak hands have been flushed out (as we are seeing at present) we should resume our upward (frogs?) leg. spud | spud
12/6/2017 22:43 | No, aside from a possible value hunter sniffing around. Re ACSO - Very possibly, but there's plenty more where that came from if it continues to pull back. spud | spud
12/6/2017 21:10 | Holding rns tomorrow then. Any thoughts what's afoot spud? ps your recent 1k addition on acso a little premature methinks | janeann |
