Cheers brando for the reco, taking another look. So youn think the share price is safe up to about 10p, if the mms dont want to sell? Thx.

looks like that's the end of the cheap stock. can't get less than 8.25 now to buy.

now 9th highest riser on the lse today

Evo are now on 8.5/5.5

other market makers are on 9, 9.25, 9.5 and 9.75 on the offer - i.e. none of them want to sell you any stock.

on the bid we now have two on 7.75 and two left on 7.25.

this is going up again shortly. next stop 8.75/8.00 i reckon

it's clear to me the other market makers are champing to push the price up, but need to wait for evo to clear their stock. obviously none of the other mms can move their bid above 7.75 until evo shifts their offer up from 8p

Brando - Of the first 3 trades shown, only one was mine but it shows as a sell. The other two small ones were obviously correctly shown as buys, hence the comment.

It took a further two(?) trades for which I was not responsible to kick the share price up.
(I have assumed the 39641 as a buy because it rounds so nicely to £3k after allowing for duty and commission.)

now up 6.8% on the day. Anyone buying in yesterday at 7.35 would be nicely in profit already by over 5%

thanks quotes - the excitement surrounding NXS is largely due to their 24% holding in an unlisted US company, Peach Direct, which is already having a transformational effect on Nexus balance sheet. Peach sells computer hardware and software and has a tie-in with GE to provide finance. They are doing v well and are mooted for a listing in the US. If that happens, obviously Nexus will enter a different league. But I suspect many bought in expecting jam today and are growing impatient.

ps..just based on a quick glance.

I gave you 3 examples of companies valued at much less than this that
are all profitable with growth and they are not moving up either.

It's a tough old market out there for penny shares.

It looks like boudicea's three buys this morning were enough to clear EVO's cheapest batch of stock... I suspect every 50,000-100,000 purchase will now have an impact on the price.

Chart starting to look a lot healthier as it crosses through 50 day moving average today. Volumes are also starting to indicate a return of interest in UNG. That growth company investor write-up probably did some good.

brando - Fair price at that time. Anyway, it's into profit already enough to cover sdrt and commission.
As this was an average down to about 10.2p I still have some way to go to make an overall profit but that at least now looks possible, even probable.

Two MMs now on 7.5p for the bid, one has moved up to 9.5p on the offer.

Evo have now gone to 8p on the offer, 5p on the bid. all the other marketmakers are either 9 or 9.25p on the offer and 7.25p on the bid. Will move up again shortly.

I have other stocks but these 3 all seem to be thriving however
their shareprice are not exactly setting the markets on fire at
present, Tnd is consolidating, Axi until today was friendless
and Lin mm's just wont move up or down for ages now.

edit..lin's results Monday so get up early to see if they are anygood.
