04/6/2003 16:04 | bought into these a couple of weeks ago and more yesterday (8000) just before the price went up.look like an outstanding buy at these levels given the recent statement from the co. | jwe
04/6/2003 10:05 | I've no idea why you are being contacte re. selling. A 6% rise yesterday makes me think that something is happening. Perhaps people have woken up to the company statement in lesk's item 95 above. | boxer9
03/6/2003 22:09 | I have a small holding in these about 50,000 . My broker is being constantly telephoned to see if I will sell. Why? | ![]() hybrasil
14/5/2003 21:10 | "While conditions will remain tough for Master Change, prospects for HTEC's business look brighter and transactions at First Remit, which operates in 38 countries, are growing by 50% a month and it should move into profit this year." Yes! now why can't all companies give that type of forecast.. :@D | lesk
14/5/2003 16:44 | I know I'm 'stupid'.. but, had to ask in case there was good reason? :@) | lesk
14/5/2003 15:18 | Because they can ? | vegrqbvgt4e
14/5/2003 13:10 | Why are MM's giving this share a 4p (20%) spread ??? | lesk
14/5/2003 11:29 | Lesk, In terms of the First Remit business, it IS taking off. If the FR numbers continue to grow rapidy, I can see this doubling in very short order. | vegrqbvgt4e
14/5/2003 11:05 | I have a small holding and looking to buy in some more.. just been looking at their website, they only have 38.5 million shares?? and capitalisation of £9.63m that's a VERY nice little earner if it takes off... :@) | lesk
14/5/2003 10:59 | First Remit obviously can't continue to grow at 39% per month forever. However, they are currently a tiny droplet in a very big bucket & they have a price advantge that is so compelling that it is viral - i.e. customers will do their marketing for them! They are ridiculously underpriced right now. | vegrqbvgt4e
14/5/2003 10:46 | How realistic is that growth potential... I find that often these things get to a saturation level and then drop back a tad... is this likely to do that, or is the growth unlimited?? | lesk
13/5/2003 19:47 | First Remit is certainly producing the numbers. It would be interesting to know the average transaction amount.Even better it should contribute to profits in the secon half to December. | ![]() geraldus
13/5/2003 11:30 | To help the less mathematical of you . . . If First Remit continues to grow at 39% per month for the next year, then by April of next year, their transactions will go up from 1640 this year, to over 85,000 for the corresponding period next year !!!!! That is the magic of compound interest. This is a potential multi-bagger. | vegrqbvgt4e
13/5/2003 11:09 | Very encouraging trading statement put out today. Key snippets include the following: "I am therefore delighted to be able to tell you that we have increased our trading profit in the first quarter of the year compared with the same period last year, and by a significant margin." Other encouraging news is that the number of transactions at First Remit has been growing at the rate of 39% MONTH ON MONTH from October last year (as calculated by me). This means that . . . "In the next couple of months this business will be covering its cash operating costs on a monthly basis while continuing to grow rapidly." This is fantastic news & this company continues to surprise on the upside. Now if the tourists would start to come back, this would really start to motor. Well worth a look for anybody who hasn't bothered with this one to-date. | vegrqbvgt4e
22/4/2003 22:06 | I have a few tucked away.Listed under the "hidden value" category.I hope it pops its head up soon. | ![]() geraldus
22/4/2003 14:38 | Nobody else following this ? Pretty decent underlying business with a potential whale chucked in for nothing it seems to me. First Remit has the potential to be absolutely huge - currently doubling turnover month after month - though yet to hit break-even. | vegrqbvgt4e
17/4/2003 10:48 | Well the market seems to like the news about the deal with RBS that seems to guarantee future funding - already up 3.5p. Let's hope that this is just the start of it. | vegrqbvgt4e
16/11/2002 00:36 | vegrqbvgt4e you say "septics aren't flying to europe." Does this mean you think this is a sh-t company? | ![]() 1400
15/11/2002 14:27 | I think we all knew to which community you were referring- 1400 was being amusing and making a verbal pun on your unfinshed rhyming slang. All I've got in this company is some from the split from Card Clear (who?) a couple of years back. Mackie is always bullish, but this is and will remain a small company for the foreseeable future if they are banking on commission rates for dollars. It's not Sept 11th - that's just patronising - it's a weak dollar and a poorer community over the ond that's stopping people travelling. They don';t invest in HTEC so it is not going to generate any more than it currently does. DYOR etc | ![]() faz
15/11/2002 14:25 | the poop's on me. It was 7:30am when I sent my message, too early for rhyming stuff! I also like UNG. (no I'm not a septic) | ![]() 1400
15/11/2002 13:39 | I think there are many reasons for less business with masterchange. 1, People using ATM's now virtually anywhere. 2, Money laundering laws. 3, People use their credit cards abroad more. 4, The Euro. 5, People generally feel uncomfortable carrying too much cash (mugging etc.). It's also extremely easy to spend or take Euro's before you go. | ![]() isis |
