26/6/2018 12:27 | Nice coverage. More of the same would be good to generate some interest. Price bouncing a bit today as the bargain hunters snap up cheap shares. A great opportunity to buy in cheap here, especially with the "growing pipeline of near-term opportunities with significant re-rating potential". Can be difficult to buy in any size when the price starts to swing up rapidly as it's done before. | cf456
26/6/2018 12:23 | Exciting year ahead for United isnt a headline that a newspaper would write, that would be cheerleading. I'd guess that he went with EE because Africa, Uk and Sth Am have all been mentioned before. it's all positive stuff, but the news element was Eastern Europe. | joemon2
26/6/2018 11:47 | Thanks Joemon Based on the article content, it's a strange headline - why not United Oil and Gas eyes Africa licences? Or why not "exciting year ahead for United" which was more the tone of it | spangle93
26/6/2018 09:52 | Eastern Europe got a name check in the places of interest list. | joemon2
26/6/2018 08:19 | "#UOG The UOG Board of Directors running through the year’s achievements today at our first AGM as a listed company Last 12 months have been highly active, successful & rewarding. Shareholders should expect more of the same for the next year as we untap the value in our portfolio" | cf456
25/6/2018 17:15 | Nice post Spangle, thanks. Anyone that attended able to post their notes from todays AGM would be very much appreciated. TIA. | dorset64
25/6/2018 08:47 | Excellent synopsis as usual Spangle. The reason I am in at the moment is for the 3D and subsequent CPR for Jamaica, which I think has the possibility of adding 2 to 3p to the SP, and the next new asset which they said would be a 'step change' from the previous assets and thus again could have substantial upside. While that is happening we have access to Colter which is likely to be drilled in Q3. | soulsauce
25/6/2018 08:39 | Hi Dorset - I just saved you the cost of attending the AGM! You're right, it's one of the best risk reward places to be at the moment, IMHO We can all imagine the reward. So here's my risk side. In my "ideal" company there would some production and more reserves - there's no income and insufficient reserves on which to seek RBL, so they're reliant for at least another 12 months on raising money through markets to sustain activity. On the plus side, they've established a track record of raising what they need, at a higher price than the last raise. There's lots of "low risk resources" but no "no risk resources". Personally I have no value for onshore Dorset (no offence) cos I think in the current febrile atmosphere no planning permission would be granted. I'm assuming Crown resources are the low side until new information tells me it isn't, so 4 MMbbl isn't worth a well. Acle remains an option, and will be quiet until someone to share the risk is found. Podere is a great asset, but at the whim of italian bureaucrats and partners, so production has potential to slip, and Italy has no other share price value-adding activity on the radar screen. That leaves Waddock Cross, which has big subsurface uncertainties but if drilled i think will deliver and from which production could be days from discovery, Colter, which hopefully will fulfil promise, and Jamaica, which I believe in time will be the company maker, but that time may be several years. Anyway, that should get the Mr Angry's from Tunbridge Wells writing in ;-) | spangle93

25/6/2018 08:07 | Time to buy in or more Spangle :) | dorset64
25/6/2018 07:56 | There's an AGM presentation on the website - it doesn't start with licences, but the Chairman's statement does precede the CEO's company overview ;-) That's one honking big block in Jamaica! Stacks of information on prospects that I haven't seen before, plus a handy timeline | spangle93
25/6/2018 07:54 | Indeed excellent statement. Building a little gem here. | soulsauce
25/6/2018 07:49 | A nice statement to read going into the AGM, unfortunately now I will not be there but whoever does go, would be pleased to read your feedback onto this thread. | dorset64
25/6/2018 07:35 | A great future ahead... ---- "The last twelve months have been a highly active, successful and rewarding period for United. "Shareholders can expect more of the same in the year ahead, as we work with our partners to bring the commercial gas discovery in Italy into production; drill at least one well in the UK; and de-risk the company-making prospectivity, offshore Jamaica. In tandem with this, we continue to evaluate new opportunities which match our investment criteria as we look to deliver on our objective to expose our shareholders to a growing pipeline of near-term opportunities with significant re-rating potential." | cf456
21/6/2018 12:19 | Spangle, you about for the AGM, be good to have a catch up over a beer if you were. | dorset64

19/6/2018 11:50 | "#UOG 1/2 Flaring gas from previous well tests at the Podere Maiar 1 well on the Selva Gas field which at a 3/8 inch choke flowed at 148,136 scm/day. Flow rates exceeded expectations & we had to add an extra flare stack to fully gauge the potential of the reservoirs." "#UOG 2/2 Application for production concession submitted & planned facilities will be capable of producing up to 150,000 cubic metres of gas per day - very important milestone in moving the 41m net gas pay at this well closer to production. So much more potential to Selva too" | cf456

08/6/2018 10:53 | #UOG nice reversal last two days after the drop. Looks poised to test 6p next week. 08/6/2018 10:36 | Chart certainly looks better. Could do with holding on to today's gain at least. Could really do with more volume, to the buy side obviously! | duplicate book
08/6/2018 10:25 | Definitely. Continuous good news from UOG so far. Happy to hold and add. Very competent management and now starting to regain momentum. 6p soon IMV | pauliewonder |
