Hi Gsry yes still hold here and happy to do so.
Seems they have dropped on a great asset in Egypt and I think it will springboard it to bigger things in time. Brian is not a man to let the grass grow under his feet.
Not one that is going to multi bag in the short term but see this at 10p by mid next year all being well.
Dusta Derek still gives me nightmares 😁

Excellent interview.

I've been stung more than once, as I'm sure many have, by buying into CEO's on AIM who over-promise and under-deliver.

Brian Larkin seems to be legit. Comes across as honest and very competent, and I'm happy to be invested here.

These guys have a plan and are executing it.

Found it - Apache said this about onshore Egypt (they have some blocks nearby Abu Sennan) :-

It’s also an area that we’ll want to put capital in, kind of first as you start to put capital back, because we’ve – just it’s what you’ve got is you’ve got six million acres, you’ve got multiple basins and the difference between it and an area like the Permian, you’ve got as much stack pay, but you’ve got conventional rock. And so that’s what differentiates it. The second thing I’ll say, and Steve may want to add some color, but these PSCs were designed and created in a much, much lower price environment. And so the way they work, things work very well in the price environment we’re at today. And so that’s how and that’s why Egypt continues to be an area that we can lean on. And that’s really one of the advantages to having an international portfolio. You’ve got rent, pricing, you’ve got the PSC structure and it’s not just the long, unconventional treadmill that you have in the Permian.

Spangles - Apache liken Egypt to the Permian in the sense there are multiple producing horizons, multiple stacked pays, high commercial COS. But handily - Egypt is all in conventional reservoirs.
